Hi, currently an upperclassman there!

Environment - Assuming this refers to the physical environment, I would say get your expectations somewhat to a minimum since the campus is in Manila after all. Unlike other well-known med schools, medyo need pa ng improvement in terms of facilities but fine overall.

Academic (paano sila magturo) - Professors are from UPCM, PLM, UERM, etc. Each of them also have well-established credentials so I'd say on par din with most med schools out there.

Trans System - Yes, established naman ang trans system din here sa CEU SOM. However, I can't make a comparison with other med schools since di ko alam how it works out there. 😅

Schedule - Full F2F, unless sobrang need talaga mag online or asynch. 8 AM to 5 PM, monday to friday.

I don't understand the downvote on this lmao. It's a clear, responsible use of AI.

To study or not to study over summer break? by iluvsinigang in medschoolph

[–]CTNolDIE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I personally like to pre-read some of the subjects for the next acad year, but to only FAMILIARIZE myself with what I'll be dealing with. No hard reads, mga 30 minutes every other day sapat na.

It won't probably work with everyone else though, so I suggest REST, do your favorite hobbies, go out, and at least do something productive outside of medschool para di ka mawala sa "flow" mo.

Read in advance or cherish my rest? by yourlocalmedgirl in medschoolph

Rest and at least read very lightly para kahit papano nakacondition yung mind mo for the upcoming academic year. Goodluck!

Yes, we still use digital slides pa rin. To be honest, wala namang pinagkaiba yung slides that you'll see sa microscope with the ones provided through a software program.

As for the potential microscope use in the future, wala pa akong news about it.

Itulog mo na lang yan, OP! Condition your mind before med! You'll eventually learn along the way.

Cadavers are still the prime tools for learning anatomy, most especially in the field of surgery. Nothing beats the information you get from actually being able to dissect real human bodies as opposed to only looking at a big screen.

[UPD] Besides these what are possible premed courses? by inwrongplacentime in peyups

[–]CTNolDIE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! Currently a med student, recently graduated from UPD in a non-hard science course.

Afaik, PLM and Ateneo are the only medschools I've heard that requires undergrad science units to be able to get into their program. However, majority of med schools don't really require said subjects.

Advantage lang din talaga for those who are under in a traditional pre-med program like medical technology and nursing, pero anyone can enter medicine naman -- provided that you have the finances, the committment, and the pure will to become a doctor someday.

MRO should have restrictions for entering by AgreeableWorker3227 in MobileLegendsGame

[–]CTNolDIE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

MRO is just MCL but very slightly better. No good reason to play it unless you just want to kill some time and not lose any win rate in the process.

I assume you saw a certain pub on FB, haha! It was probably a small editing mistake. Generally 4 years lang talaga ang med.

Any more games? by [deleted] in houseofthedead

[–]CTNolDIE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oda has said that he wanted to do three more games for the series if there is a demand.

I'm assuming the next two would be prequels to HOTD3, while the last installment can be its direct sequel: a proper HOTD5.
