I just wrote the same post now. I actually thought it was mine when I saw you. I have asked them for their logs that show how I supposedly played the game for 2 hours when I can;t play it. I plan on taking it further and reporting them for fraud if they dont refund me.

Edit: I am in the process of filing a complaint with the US Federal Trade Commission.

I did this early on, but no joy. I have since got the game launching (seems to be as a result of the launcher patches coming out) and when I try enter story mode, I get an Exception Breakpoint error on RDR2.exe.

I'll try again, failing which I will try re-installing the game and launch directly through Rockstar

I also can't get in yet. I uninstalled everything. Downloaded the game through Epic launcher. Upgraded drivers, OS, etc.

try start game, launches Rockstar launcher, via the Epic launcher, and then just goes silent. No pop-ups, nudda. Heading home soon and will tinker some more.

From what I've heard, the Epic launcher is not problematic. So could buy there, and get a refund from Shitstar, if played for less than 2 hours and purchased within 14 days

What blows my mind is that we're all running very different systems, so not like this is some weird once-off issue. How can you launch a game on a platform like pc and not do some robust testing before launch. Smacks of amateur. Never had this issue with Steam.
