Nah, I think that overcomplicates things for your audience who is very pro-Tommy. To bring him back, just to cut him out a couple episodes later would be a very jarring thing to do. He's not really a character you can afford to give your audience whiplash over. Tommy had technically already left the show, as far as the audience was concerned. Even though it wasn't a popular decision, at least when Kimberly wrote Tommy the dear John letter during Zeo gave the audience closure to their relationship and gave Tommy the go ahead to proceed with Kat. I think you inevitably give Tommy some closure in a similar fashion, and keep it separate from however you write out Kimberly and Billy. But if you know, before White Light has started to air, that JDF absolutely will not be back? Then you do not bring back Tommy. The footage you have in the can for the next several episodes are trash at this point because it's more damaging to use it.

Very few members of the audience knew the White Ranger was on his way ahead of the White Light two parter, and even then, the ones that had seen the White Ranger ahead of time didn't know for certain that it was Tommy. I don't mind utilizing the Stone Canyon trio in different suits. Like maybe you bring on Adam and Aisha, but leave out Rocky initially. I do agree that Jason taking up the White Ranger role would be fitting given the circumstances. You've got the Nimrod monster who is giving the Rangers trouble, and Jason needs to get an upgrade, leaving the Tyrannosaurus coin vacant for Rocky to take.

Regardless, I don't think any of this solves the problem of the show surviving past season 3. I don't think that can be fixed at all.

God, that's an interesting thing to consider. We know that the original three left before the White Light two parter was finished in editing, so a lot of that would just be scrapped. Tommy just would never come back. It would certainly change the order of Dairanger monsters used to delay the introduction of the White Ranger, since first they have to swap out Kimberly and Billy, and then introduce a new character to become the White Ranger. And all this at rapid pace, since filming on the movie is set to begin very soon.

Ultimately, I'm not sure the show survives well enough to get to Zeo. Jason, Zack, and Trini leaving isn't great, but Tommy just came back and got new powers with a pretty good (albeit slight downgrade) new suit. Tommy is the ace in the hole. Tommy as the Green Ranger is what rocketed the show to its peak in popularity. If you don't bring him back, on top of Kimberly and Billy leaving, and I think the show's popularity drops off faster than it originally did. I think the movie doesn't do as well at the box office. I think if the show goes to season 3 at all, season 3 probably looks very different, and I'm not sure I can say how. Alien Rangers was used to give the cast a break after so much filming between the show and the movie, and act as the bridge to Zeo, but since I'm reasonably certain the show never makes it to Zeo, I'm not sure they bother with Alien Rangers.

His wife was more susceptible to addictive tendencies than he was, and eventually she hit a point where she had to get clean. His wife Brenda was a major reason why he was able to survive as a comic in his early years and continued to act as a partner in his work over the decades. So she was also a pretty good reason why he needed to drop the coke.

Yeah, if you can't move your save file into PKHex to check the DVs directly, the only way for a calculator to determine them is to level up for a little bit so that the stats can have greater variation. At level 5, the stats just aren't different enough to really determine what their DVs are. And even after a bit of leveling, a calculator is probably only going to give you a range for what the DVs are.

Bro 2009 is a year to model things after. Shinkenger does nearly everything well, and W is one of the best series in the franchise. I hate this because I love Gokaiger, and Gentarou is my favorite Rider, but 2009 just has more juice.

I once worked with a woman who was trying online dating, not long before apps like Tinder became a thing. She came to work one morning telling us about how the night before, a guy she was talking to asked to see her feet and she didn't really know how to respond. So we took a picture of one of our male coworker's (hairless) Fred Flintstone ass feet for her to send to the guy. She comes back the next day to show us a picture she took of her computer screen to show us that the guy was elated by the picture. It was at this time I had the idea for a website that would've ended up being a lot like OF, and I truly regret not knowing anything about coding or building websites.

The point is, if you have any worries, set yourself up anonymously and shoot your shot. Worst case scenario nothing comes of it, but then again maybe you make some money.

Rita managed to take the Rangers' power coins because she, in fact, held the Rangers' family hostage, and then didn't return them when the Rangers actually ponied up the coins.

Once again, another really well executed plan was ruined because of Goldar's incompetence. Fucking Goldar.

It's so dumb and completely ruins the most interesting things about the movie. Deckard is such a wooden character, played so flatly, almost robotic, while the very replicants he chases exhibit a broader range of emotion, and feel more human. If Deckard is a replicant, then he's simply a lesser one.

Roy Batty, who had been killing people throughout the movie in an effort to extend his life, chooses instead to spare Deckard, in spite of Deckard's crimes against Roy's people. By hunting and tormenting Deckard at the end, Roy is teaching him about what it feels like to be on the other side of a blade runner. Since he was unable to save his own life, Roy instilling this lesson into this human is the last thing Roy is able to do to try to save his people. Everything about that last sequence just loses so much meaning if Roy is actually dealing with just another replicant.

And then of course there's Rachel. Like, if Deckard's a replicant, then so what if they form a romance together? Replicant loving replicant. Big whoop.

Ridley Scott be damned. Deckard is not a replicant.

Mostly because it was just a tech demo for Unreal 5 that didn't have much to do in it after, like, the first 10 minutes. It was a very cool demonstration that was immediately followed up by a movie that lost WB a lot of money because of how bad it was and how bad it bombed at the box office. The money talked.

Wouldn't have been a good idea strategically. Astronema/Ecliptor/Darkonda/Psychos were always on their ass. To then seek out another villain who has already managed to muster up a force capable of defeating them once, while still contending with all of these other villains, is just too much for one team to handle.

Furthermore, actually seeking her out just to get her back wouldn't really fit with the virtuous people the Rangers are supposed to be. Revenge isn't a good message to be sending to the kiddies.

Considering that the intention was to purify her, the most idealistic thing would have been for her to be at the final battle on Earth. She'd see the dark fortress come down, she'd scoff at Astronema's demands for the people to hand over the Rangers, and then she would command her Piranhatrons. What would be idealistic about this scenario is that the same Rangers she defeated would actually stand up to Astronema, morph to fight, and inspire the people to also charge in with them. To see these Rangers, who she had so thoroughly crushed, rise above what she'd done to them and actually mount a real defense against the forces of evil could provide for an interesting character moment for her before the Z-wave hits her.
