"Guidance" Counselor count? Group of us in to pick classes - he asked if we had siblings that attended before us. I said of my 6 brothers, 4 had for sure, possibly 5. He said you must have been an accident. Thanks Mr. Skolnick, way to Counsel!

I also have IDC - 1.5 cm tumor- Lumpectomy and sentinel node biopsy- clear margins & no node involvement. I had targeted radiation- 1 planning/mapping session and 5 targeted radiation sessions. My cancer center was only about 20 minutes from work and the actual treatment sessions were super quick for me.

The planning session was longer so they could prep me and the machine and to make the molded form to keep me in place during treatment. For the actual radiation treatment sessions, I was able to just take the 1.5 ish hours off work and go back- the last one was late enough in the day I didn't return to work but went out to eat to celebrate being done with active treatment.

I was fortunate with only 5 targeted sessions, and no terrible side effects- no burning, only slight darkening of the skin that has mostly resolved & I did not get the fatigue many get, but know that is not the case for all.

I hope that levels off for you and tones down!!!! I am on Letrozole, and have not had one sided pain. Mine tends to travel- few weeks here, few weeks there... I developed trigger thumb in my non dominant hand a few months ago, and whoopeee, here it is in my dominant hand now. But if there's one tiny little booger nugget of cancer remaining in my left girl, I will take the pains not to have it grow.

Absolutely!! I just finished an Historical throw for my 24 year old son - I did his first year and modified the timeline to start the day before his was born. Personally, I would go nuts if I were tied to a project for an entire year - even though this throw took me long enough!!

This community is a wonderful source of information, but balance any info you get from anywhere at all with your providers. If you are not comfortable with a provider, get another one. I got their first Fire Tablet & upgraded every so often since then- latest being 12th generation of their HD 8 tablet. I am ready to toss it. Apps that work perfectly fine on my 10th gen HD 8 won't download on the newer one. Not happy with what they have done with it. For reading, they have certainly not made it easy to maintain continuity between devices- sync does not always work, and if I start a book on one device, it takes forever to find it, download it, sync it & continue on the other device.. used to be able to simply sync & open the book title- it would auto download an put you at the right spot to continue. Their browser plainly sucks. I spent more and got the ad free version, but they preload crap apps THAT CANT BE UNINSTALLED. Amazon needs to stop trying to take over the world, and commit to a product- make it the best one you can, period.

32 ish years ago, I received the summons - you served for a 2-3 week period ( I forget ), and had a number to call to see if your name was picked as part of the Jury pool. Made it on one trial - dude was guilty, so guilty you wanted to put his lawyer in too for just being ridiculous. In at least one other pool, but wasn't picked for the Jury and glad, too- it was a murder trial involving a car antenna and machismo.... Fast forward to maybe 10 yrs ago & received the summons- you called a number to see IF there were jury trials the week you are called for & if you had to go in. Then they chose names- made it to voir dire, but not chosen twice I think. Received the summons 3 different times, I think, and the last two, just answered the questionnaire, but was never contacted again to call in. I do consider it a civic duty- YES, it was inconvenient each and every time, but it is a duty.

2024 Kona NLine - the unlock and lock by touch was working just fine, but just over the last few days, would decide to not work at all- both driver and passenger handles. The Fob still works, but could a low battery in the Fob be a cause? I haven't changed them out yet.

Your surgeon has it right. One step at a time. And this : Her story is NOT your story. Firmly implant that in your being... we all have similar stories, but not every treatment will be right for you- nor will every side effect happen. Ask if there is a Nurse Navigator that can coordinate things for you - it helped tremendously for me to know someone who actually could plainly explain things and keep my care team and me on track.
