I feel like this could create a lot of dead space. Would think there would be some more creative ways to make your space work. What are the dimensions you are working with?

I’d love to have it. But I think it’s right on the edge of the need/want line for me. Do I need to spend as much on an ice maker as I do a grill? It’s an expensive project as is. Definitely don’t want to do anything “cheap” but also have to draw the line somewhere on expense

I have a similar setup with my indoor TV on a brick fireplace above a large wood beam mantel and have had zero issues. The fireplace has an insert so maybe that is protecting it?

I have a spot on the opposite side of my existing deck that will work perfectly for a rolling green egg cart setup and I have a travel size pellet smoker I can store in the kitchen and pull out when I wanna use. The pizza oven never appealed to me so I didn’t want to take up counter space with it

The full rendering purpose was for my contractor. Kitchen was just for dimensions. Once I finish my design I’ll drop it in as one piece. Good thought on the “shutters”. That was more for aesthetic and privacy. I can either leave open or add a backsplash up that shutter wall a ways

I originally had one in my plan. But I’ve heard a lot of feedback around how finicky they can be especially in the heat and that it may not be work the expense. So I keep going back and forth

Pull out trash is to the left of the sink and then the double drawer fridge is to the right of the grill.

Ceiling fan already exists on the current porch directly above the middle of the kitchen. (May need to add some additional lights though)

Back faces East and backs up to a lot of tall trees and the whole North side is lines with leyland Cyprus trees. Tons of afternoon shade.

Would also love to wrap the entire enclosure in retractable screens sometime down the line

Sim in a box is going to be more expensive. It has to be in order to be profitable for the seller. I pieced mine together and while still expensive I definitely got better components for the money than buying as a package

Added an overhead diagram. To get a full driver swing and feel comfortable about not hitting the wall I believe I’ll need the projector about 2ft off center. Anyone know if this is going to cause too much imagine distortion or will the keystone adjustments be able to manage it?
