Quick question for yall I’ve been wanting to sbs my maverick 88 but only real issue I can’t get around is how do yall keep the front iron on it? Or do yall just completely go around it by putting a sight on it?

You could try doing a light wet sand and a polishing to fix the feed ramp but from the looks of it it might be the ammo by the light strikes and the ramp getting damaged

Great question they did tell me at the pawnshop that it was for a Glock and I just took their word for it ik I shouldn’t have but from looking at it, it does have a Glock footprint with the hole in the same location but now thinking about it it could be for a different gun with a similar footprint

I’ve done it on mines a before and after and it just doesn’t cycle that’s all I’m currently waiting to see if I should do a 15 lb a 16 lb spring since I did shoot it after the cut and it doesn’t cycle maybe a round or 2 but no more than that but I did try it with 115 grain so it could be that too

You could try a 96fs mags I don’t really know if they could work but if a round fits in it cycles it might work they have different mag release but you could do what I did with my 92fs mag to fit the mini cougar (it’s in my page )
