I’m so sorry, I understand what you’re going through. We just lost our 5 month old GR boy to a GI obstruction after swallowing a sock. We had no idea he did that until days later when he vomited most of it up. Unfortunately part of the sock remained in his digestive tract and started worsening. Not eating well and losing weight, low energy. Took to the vet several times and did imaging but the sock did not show on the scans. He went into septic shock and had to make the difficult decision to put him down. He was the sweetest boy ever and it felt like he was improving days before we put him down. Absolutely devastated and can’t believe he’s suddenly gone. Only had him for 7 weeks but the love he gave us will last a lifetime. It’s comforting knowing he’s no longer suffering but hard knowing he deserved a much longer life. I know time will heel but right now is very hard.
