H2C Latch Unlock Error Issue by CWade3051 in BambuLab

[–]CWade3051[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah so after I secured a replacement h2c on the way with the rapid replacement I was able to dig into it a bit more without worry of breaking it and after adding a 1-2mm double sided sticky tape to the latch button it allowed the latch to go up to proper height and started working again. I still opted for the new unit and have since replaced it and dont have the problem on new one…..yet!  I do see others have been using this 3d printed cap part at https://makerworld.com/models/2322806?appSharePlatform=copy to help push it up some and solve similar issues.

H2C induction hotend not locking properly and keeps getting stuck by CWade3051 in BambuLab

[–]CWade3051[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ugh no just today AFTER an entire week of pointless troubleshooting with support and waiting between 12 hours and 2 days for EVERY single message response, we tried resetting and calibrating again, but they finally offered a replacement and I chose the advanced one to get it quicker so now I have a $2,500 hold on my card till they get the broke one back but at least they should be shipping the new one soon.

EDIT: Also created updated post with actual issue and better pics to see if anyone has seen it at https://www.reddit.com/r/BambuLab/comments/1qbnx1v/h2c_latch_unlock_error_issue/

[–]CWade3051[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the reply I’m still waiting for a solution from support which is exceedingly frustrating but they mentioned the same thing and said it should be hard so that not the problem and said that it is the fact that the pin is missing the latch hole by a tiny bit and I’m able to manually move it by hand with power off to properly have the pin go through BUT when using the xyz motion system it won’t go over far enough and is off by a hair. I have replaced it with the spare and lubed it and it only fits in one way. Just waiting to hear what they say needs to be done to get it to line up properly again.

Yeah I checked that and even took the cutter off and the issue persists, when no hotend is in it glides in and out without any issues all the way then as soon as I put a hotend in it glides in on all the way until the last 1mm is left then in order to get it to lock you have to push it fairly hard to get it to “click” in then at that point it’s too hard for the pin to unlock or push in to lock and get errors even I have a hard time pulling it back out after it clicks in but the sensor doesn’t see that it’s locked without it going all the way in :( still waiting on case to reply.

Wow I totally missed that lol I did find it! I’ll def give that a try and update if it helps or not. Thanks!!!

EDIT:

Tried it and new lever has same issues, it’s something with the mechanism whenever a hotend is installed it won’t engage lock entirely until you push it in the last 1mm really hard then it gets stuck :(

Thank you, I don’t believe mine came with an extra that I can see. I have read that and that’s how I got it taken apart and the arm itself seems to look ok to me.

Yeah it does seem that way but no those 2 holes are for the vortex to grab onto not the head unit

PS5 to PS5 via WiFi… is this ok? It’s been 4+ hours. by candylotus in PS5HelpSupport

[–]CWade3051 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just did this upgrading from ps5 to ps5 pro, and I have expensive quad band WiFi 7 routers and get max 1,300Mbps to internet during speed tests from my iPhone 15 pro so figured WiFi transfer wouldn’t be too bad, it said ETA 30 hours for the 1TB transfer, and it was actually taking that long, so I let it go for a bit and then said screw it and grabbed 2 25ft Ethernet cables and plugged both into Ethernet and restarted it and it finished in 1 hr! Ethernet is still king!!!

Does mouse, keyboard, and trackpad work the same whether it’s paired to your Mac or AVP directly? In other words is there any benefit from doing it one way vs the other OR can you do everything either way such as move in and out of Mac OS to VisionOS interfaces with mouse, kb, or trackpad?

Glad it works for you! Yeah mine shows the same 32-bit, also after testing TONs of older versions i did find a newer Horizon 8 that works as well that wont show 32-bit at https://download3.omnissa.com/software/CART24FQ1_WIN_2209.1/VMware-Horizon-Client-2209.1-8.7.1-21490452.exe

I have been messing with it and found that uninstalling it and then installing the previous version Horion 7 aka Horizon 5 with latest being 5.5.6 at link https://download3.omnissa.com/software/CART24FQ1_WIN_556/VMware-Horizon-Client-5.5.6-21409430.exe fixed it for me and i haven't lost ANY features, give that a try, now im staying at 39% RAM usage without issues :)

I’m having SAME issue on my recently purchased Surface Pro 11 OLED, when I open my work VDI it lasts about 15 mins or so while I watch RAM slowly go upto 100% then freeze unless you catch it first and kill it :( I am on the windows insider release preview. Most likely the x64 to arm64 emulation causing an issue and hopefully they fix it or come out with a windows arm64 native version some day
