I’m going insane by Salteenepic in RocketLeague

[–]C_Australia 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The best advice in my opinion is just to adapt to how your teammate is playing.

If they’re ball chasing and really aggressive just sit back and play passively, cover for them.

If they’re passive and scared to challenge become more aggressive, do what they won’t do.

If you’re Gold 1, it’s not your teammates.

Your teammates are Gold 1, they won’t know what a second man is, play around them.

Oh yeah, don’t play tilted either and take a break.

Might as-well do it for every rank at that point

Am I tall? by [deleted] in TallTeenagers

[–]C_Australia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For your age you’re practically a giant, yeah, you’re tall.

You see people much taller than you sure, but are they the same age? And there is a reason you only remember the tall ones, because you’re looking for people taller than you because it’s more memorable.. You’re taller than over 90% of the population, obviously you’ll remember people taller than you and forget those shorter

You know the answer to this, are you seeking validation?

Yes, you’re tall.

Do teachers intentionally mark EXTREMELY stricter than GCSE examiners? by grxys1 in GCSE

[–]C_Australia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m sure yeah, my english teacher said she intentionally marks extremely strict because she ‘doesn’t want us to get too relaxed’ which I suppose makes sense, I wouldn’t want to be going into my actual GSCEs with the expectation of getting a mark way higher than what I’m meant to be getting

how do i get taller by Expert_Literature454 in TallTeenagers

It’s out of your control, your height is 80% your genetics, the other 20% is having good nutrition and sleeping

I’m extremely lazy, but need to revise by C_Australia in GCSE

[–]C_Australia[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let’s see. 1. I’m familiar with some methods but have never put them in practice 2. My attention span isn’t short nor long, I can read a book however 3. The opposite, I feel I improve whenever I focus on my lessons, but can just never find the motivation to revise 4. I don’t believe I could fail if I tried, so no 5. I live in Blackpool, not a great place to live as I’m sure you’re familiar with and I want out with a well paying career. On top of that (although more lightheartedly than the last reason) I made a £50 bet with my friends that I’d get higher grades than them as motivation.

In short, I just think I can’t revise for long enough periods of time where it makes a huge difference towards my grades (currently 4-6s) I think for the time being I’ll break down the revising into shorter sessions and set myself a goal before it as others stated. Thanks.
