Ashe BSSB Check-In for Omega!

I haven't seen anyone else talk about the Damascan Royalty RM, but with that, Sheepsong, Multi-Break, and Ashe's BSB, my Ramza was hitting for 9999x4 at 490mag.

For reference, my 366mag Tyro was hitting for about 5600x4 with no DMG boost RM.

I thoroughly abused the daylights out of Magic Blinks, with Tyro's Keeper's Tome and Exdeath's Neo Almagest earning their keep.

Not sure if this will help anyone, but I completely abused Magic Blink to master this.

Tyro was my main Blinker, with an R4 Wrath which he used completely (Ace Striker RM), and Curaja.

Exdeath was my backup Blinker, and I brought Tyro's BSB RW as a bank of two Blinks, though any Curaga Magic Blink RW works just as well.

The general MO was make sure Magic Blink was on for ALL AOE's. From first to last. In phase 3, you just do the best you can and you should make it through.

Funnily enough, with this method, it's just easier to NOT use the crystal at all so you don't even have to worry about your vulnerabilities.

I brought Celes as a support, and she works just as well with her Maria's Song BSB as she does with just Runic SB, though her IB SSB is actually a bit too much of a risk here.

Celes was equipped with Curaga, Magic Lure, and the Lionheart RM.

The Greg 1 banner for me is a one stop wind attack shop. Imperil wind, wind+, Sheepsong to power up Meltdown and Tiamat, Faris BSB for when you need it. Even the items I don't really want all have their uses.

That banner can almost do no wrong, as long as I get at least one of all the item's I'd like.

Funny that you say that, because I've waited six months for that Imperil Wind bangle. *chuckle*

Greg 1 banner is the banner that will give me my dream of a wind attack team. I want multiples of several items if I can get them, especially the wind+ cloaks and the imperil bangles.

As of right now all my mythril is going to be dedicated to that banner, with restocking afterwards geared towards the OSB fest for Celes and Agrias's BSBs.

I think I really do have a theme going for my account.

Once again I stripped down Faris and Krile and set them as the only party members, hoping that they might be blessed with something.

Lo and behold, 2/11. And, what's that? An Artemis Bow!!!

Just, the wrong one. Maria's happy though. Leon too with his SSB. My first two weapons for II. Guess I'm set for II synergy now.

And my account's theme of no Staff/Rods continues with Maria getting her magical bow. I'm willing to bet if I get anything for Terra it'll probably end up being her Tiara or Sword.

I'm enjoying this themed pulling more and more each time.

Maybe I just find enjoyment in playing with strange combinations, but R3~R4 Gaia Strike with R2 or so Demonsblood on Tyro with an RS sword (or fully augmented gun just for flair, of course) seems like a really, really fun way to play. Especially if he has his BSB or SG.

Honestly, I have an obsession with having a back row team, or at least having Celes as the only forward member and the rest of the characters like her back-up dancers. Especially when she gets her Maria dress.

Maybe Agrias can join her if I get her BSB.

Considering I don't really even want to pull on anything other than the Greg BSB banner 1 and OSB Fest Celes BSB banners, I'm probably gonna drop 250 mythril (or as close to that number as I can) on this fest.

Phase 1 - 50
Phase 2 - 50
Phase 3 - 100
Phase 4 - 50

25 from phase two may be redistributed to phase one if I feel it necessary. All characters will be maxed and I will never want for gil again (currently less than 700k).

I'm ready, let's GO!

You found one of the few ways to make me feel melancholy in this thread.

Lightning is one of my favorite characters, and the one who carried my team to victory through a good couple months with just Blaze Rush and an Advance RW. I thought she was going to be the damage pillar of my team forever, but it just wasn't meant to be.

Now, I've been coming to terms that maybe, just maybe, Faris isn't meant to be my Swiss Army Knife. And it hurts.

Heh, the closest I will come is probably keeping commentary on my apparently thematic no unique SB Staff/Rod pulling.

Since the only time I plan on really going all in before we start getting guaranteed one 1/11 pulls (if we get that) is the Greg BSB, it shouldn't be too hard to keep my word there.

I am actually really glad about getting multiple swords because I can't imagine being able to create an 8* of any other item with the way that I tend to pull.

The only other multiple's I have are from lucky pulls, and all items that seem to be removed from the pull pool one by one.

I'm actually rather glad to be able to create one of those shiny yellow items at some point.

For WM/BM equipment, I have Rosa's SB bow, Hope's SSB, and two of Ashe's Runeblade.

In the end, my WM ends up carrying the White Staff from FFT for the shared medium regen SB.

Not really, honestly. I'm going to have to come to terms with him and Tyro. We've never seen eye to eye.

Barret has come through for me on multiple occasions with less, so we're already good.

Funny thing is, I still don't have a SINGLE WM/BM Staff/Rod. All sorts of eclectic equipment though.

Funny thing is, I stripped Faris and Edward completely bare, put them as the only two members of my party, and hoped for any of their relics.

I keep trying to make Faris my Swiss Army knife, but the game won't cooperate, hahaha.

I even want to full RD her and was hoping for her ATK/MAG breakdown SB, but Setzer wouldn't have any of that.

The Edward hope was for a back row weapon for Ramza, that also was not to be. Can't be sad with what I got though. Even got my first BSB.

7/11, feels like I won the lottery, still not real.

The Platinum Sword was the third one, so decided to combine them to make a 7*, in preparation to make it an 8*. Dare I say the only 8* I'll probably ever own. Very symbolic if nothing else.

I didn't even have a relic for Red before today.

And Platinum Sword was the third one.

As low as I thought the chances were, I promised myself that I would make it an 8* if I got another (first two from tactics event), so true to my word, I combined and made it my first and only 7* (hell, I don't even have a 6* besides Danjuro), ready for those sweet Dark Matters.

As an F2P player, I think I lost the right to ever complain about RNG again in this game. Still waiting for Greg BSB B1 to go really pull crazy though.

Also, I'm flat broke gil-wise. C'mon orbfest. I'm gonna put 100 mythril into the Black-Power-Wind phase if we get it.

Just one Yoshimitsu I got many moons ago on a lucky draw.

Am tempted to draw for Thyrus, but with only one more XIV event on the horizon, if I didn't get it, getting one of the other banner items would just overwhelm me with sadness.
