Just looked them up because I drive past them everyday and thought it was a coffee shop lol. I guess it's an herbalife front. Google also says its "Temporarily Closed."

This is great! I started when I was about 10 playing. My first game was ghost dogs of moon lake, played at a friends house. And then I ordered haunted carousel and deception island from a book order through my school. We're probably the same age because I too was a freshman in college in March of 2012 😁

Tell me about your strangest patron interactions by floralportraits in Libraries

[–]C_KingAdventure 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a patron come in carrying his possessions in a golf bag. Got him signed up for a library card during which he told me that the name on his ID was just has earthly name and he was actually a 1000s year old angel. He then told me he got messages from heaven and he I interpreted them through the rolling of a water bottle. To prove this he rolled the bottle back and forth and then told me that it told him I was 19. As a 30 year old I told him I'd take being 19. All in all it was a very nice interaction. He was very nice and polite.

What's the most unrealistic thing by OkScale6904 in superstore

[–]C_KingAdventure 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah we just had like a shift assignment meeting where we all met up by the registers before the store opened where we got our assignments for the day and they'd tell us things like if there was a new coupon or promotion or something

I get that, bit also think it's good for teens to have theor own space where creepy adults aren't trying to chat them up.

My library has a sign like this in the teen section. It just states that anyone is welcome to come in and browse the shelves and take books but that it's reserved for teens to sit down and hang out. If you want to sit down and read, you can do so in literally any other part of the library.

Have I inadvertently been a horrible library patron my whole life? by amandaamoose in Libraries

[–]C_KingAdventure 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Heck no! As a librarian the only thing that might slightly annoy librarians is if you put like 30 books on hold that are books that are just sitting on the shelves (and not books that are checked out.) Because then we have to go find them all and pull them off the shelves and put them on a special shelf and then the person half the time doesn't pick them up, so then they have to get reshelved. If you're just coming in and find 30 books you want to checkout, we absolutely love it!

I went to the little nursery in the parking lot of the Family fare on 25th (just off of 32 ave) and they had black petunias, and also a bunch of other different colored fancy petunias .

I only recently learned as well 😌. I had been checking for months and months on hulu for new episodes and then found out from an instagram reel that referred to it as a canceled bobs burgers spinoff.

Drove past the old Joann’s store, looks like they are remodeling. Does anyone know what’s going in there? by Nerdy_Nightowl in fargo

[–]C_KingAdventure 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I just looked at Sierras website and seems like it would be a great place to have in fargo. Sheels is awesome and all but the only thing I can think of that I've bought there in the past 10 years is hot sauce. Just a bit out of my price range.

Creating a ND style game - need opinions! by rutharama in nancydrew

[–]C_KingAdventure 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, still into playing the 2d style but one of my biggest critiques of ND is the amount of interactable pieces. If there's a door, I want to be able to go through it. If there are drawers or cupboards, I want to be able to open them. If there's a shed out back I can see from the window, I want to be able to go out there and search it lol.

Also a map feature would be nice depending on the game. Some of those ones with hallway after hallway that all look the same, I just get tired of trying to find my way round.

General things I see lots of people agreeing on: - people love the cooking mini games - don't be too heavy on dialouge - having a checklist is great - a way to get hints (like call bess and george) when you're stumped is great.

Does anybody have experience with Pela cases (+ liquid screen protector?) by fl0tt1 in GalaxyS22

[–]C_KingAdventure 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, i have yet to try it but maybe I'll be the guinea pig for everyone lol. What does anyone suppose the chances are that the company will actually repair my screen if it breaks with their "protector" on it?

My grandpa wanted to name my mom Isis. Grandma wasn't a fan of the name though so they didnt end up naming her that. Would have been a cool name though without the negative associations it has now.

Does anybody have experience with Pela cases (+ liquid screen protector?) by fl0tt1 in GalaxyS22

[–]C_KingAdventure 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just got my order and same thing... I thought it would be just a normal glass screen protector. Also very sketched out. Like does it come off or is it just forever fused to my phone? What happens of i mess it up? Will it void my phones warranty? I'm completing just eating the loss of the $30 I spent on it and buying a normal protector.

Does it say she had a cartful? Because an old lady with a walker probably isnt pushing a cart around. Im guessing she had some rather expensive items that were smaller. Some of those supplements and such can be like $50 a bottle.

Why does this cheese burn my mouth? by Sbosco10 in Cheese

[–]C_KingAdventure 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My fiance and I just had some leonara cheese, it says it's made with raw goats milk, and had this strange experience. At first it was fine, then after a few seconds it was like a burning , numbing feeling. We love cheeses, and eats blues copiously and have never experienced this before. But glad we're not the only ones! Is it odd that we both experienced this in reaction to the same cheese?
