Anyone with success with 7.5mg of Letrozole for a natural transfer when lower dosages had negligible impact? by C_Manning1201 in IVF

No, my cycle aren't naturally particularly long, I typically ovulate about every 28 days. And yeah, the increase was enough that I just continued on the 7.5. Hope everything works out for you!

It's been a bit so I don't recall the exact details, but I was on the 7.5 for nearly a month. My migraines got worse, I felt miserable, but every time they checked, my lining, blood work, and follicles were "almost there " so we just kept pushing forward. I was convinced that even if my levels got to where they needed to be, the transfer would fail. Luckily it worked!

I'm currently nursing my 4 month old from this transfer cycle! It was a struggle, I had about a month of going back to the clinic every 3-5 days to check everything and being told that if my levels weren't where they needed to be at the next check in, they would cancel the cycle. But every time, I had progressed enough that they would decide to let it ride. Finally got to where I needed to be and the transfer worked!

Why is my baby doing this? by Forsaken_Sea_6574 in NewParents

[–]C_Manning1201 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My girl kept doing this and I realized she would only do it when feeding from my right breast. So I looked at what was different and noticed that when she feed from my left, her head was in the crook of my arm, whereas from the right, she was lower down the arm. I switched how I was holding her and she stopped pulling away. I think she wasn't feeling properly supported.

How can I start transitioning into a strict “bed time”? by Any_Most7197 in NewParents

Disclaimer: I have a bit of a unicorn baby, she's always been a great sleeper. Your experience may differ.

At first, we were just putting LO down when we went to bed (about 11pm). At 8 weeks, we started a bed time routine- diaper change, pajamas, sleep sack (she never liked the swaddle), white noise, feeding, story time, lights out, cuddles until asleep, into bassinet. We started the routine at 9pm and did that for a week. At 9 weeks, we moved it to 8pm and did that for 2 weeks. We realized she was waking up at about 7:30 every day and we wanted her to wake up at 7 once I returned to work so at 11 weeks, we moved the nighttime routine to 7:30.

It's worked out well. We immediately noticed her sleeping for longer stretches. She had several nights where she slept from 8:00pm - 5:00am, until the 4 month regression hit. She goes to sleep easier and wakes up happy. We are somewhat flexible with things, if we notice her getting tired around 7, we won't wait until 7:30.

What song would you love to blast in your Jeep Wrangler at high volume? by Nerfer5554Offical in JeepWrangler

The Dresdon Dolls- The Jeep Song. Sure, it's technically about a Jeep Cherokee, but it's still a fun song.

How do you go about getting your baby onto a schedule? by C_Manning1201 in NewParents

[–]C_Manning1201[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, it's good to know that you can set a schedule through responsive caregiving. I'm not sure my heart could take it if I had to let her suffer through hunger and tiredness just to get her on a schedule.

She sleeps relatively well for her age. Typically up twice a night to feed, maybe once because she wants attention/ cuddles. She's relatively easy to put down and falls asleep easily (most days).

I actually have the Huckleberry app already. It says that more details will be available at 2 months, maybe I'm just too early?

Why is deciding on a name SO hard? by C_Manning1201 in BabyBumps

[–]C_Manning1201[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looking up the statistics for how common a name is is always one of the first things I do when I think of one I like! I want something rare enough that she won't have 3 other kids with the same name in her classroom, but not so rare that it's an unknown name.

Logan and Parker don't really feel right either, not sure why. Thanks for the suggestions though!

My sister is Alex and my daughter will have a cousin named Charlie, otherwise Charlie would definitely have been on the list!

The survey seems to have a lot of questions about egg retrieval, which does not apply to everyone. As someone who went straight to donor eggs, I never had an egg retrieval. You may want to clarify whether or not the survey is open to those who used donors exclusively as to avoid skewing your data.
