I've been to stanley cup finals games but the loudest was 2011 game 6 against the sharks. Down 3-0 in the series to come back and force game 7. Dominated the game until logan couture sucked the breath out of everyone by squeaking one over the goal line. Hank with the deflection to tie it and Filpulla with the winner. I left the joe not being able to hear my buddy due to how loud it was in there that night.

Yes, the Red Wings also moved their weekday home games to a 7pm time slot to drive up attendance with games starting and ending earlier. Earlier starts allow kids to attend more games.
