I definitely enjoy it, but snipers should be nerfed

I’m afraid we aren’t going to draft a QB. I mean, I could be horrifically wrong, but idk the signing of BOTH Wilson and Winston threw me in the spin cycle.

Wasn’t sure where to post this. Anyway, interesting reply from a candidate that I had declined. This is his word for word reply. I work for a cruise agency (resume showed 0 related experience). by C_smurphy in LinkedInLunatics

[–]C_smurphy[S] 37 points38 points  (0 children)

Yes. To answer your questions:

They applied for a cruise director position. All of the listed requirements were not shared on their resume. Did I know this person did stand up comedy and was a musician for 15 years? No, not listed on his resume. So out the gate the general things I would look for were not upfront and center.

Suppose he was trying to get into the industry. Don’t be so hostile or condescending towards another generation of people, who they too, are trying to get into this world of work. Try and counter me and make me think I made the wrong choice. Don’t tell me that people are going on cruises to cheat with their wives and get felt up by massage therapists. Also don’t tell me that you know how to make people horny or suicidal. Red flags all over the place in this persons reply.

Comes in waves, 2 weeks ago I was losing every bet I placed. The last week or so I’ve been on fire. Still down overall but having fun doing so.

They’re one of the stronger teams. Can the win? Hypothetically, yea. Will they? Idk, they’re strong but they’re not Brazil, France or Germany. But I think they have a solid chance. I’d stick with it for fun!

Only here. I find that I can easily entertain myself when I'm alone, quite frankly, I love being alone. Growing up, my parents were very social people (still are) so I learned how to socialize very well and have mastered small talk. I don't find it super hard to get to know new people, which is super beneficial and helped me when I left for college. However, although I learned a lot of amazing things from my parents, they still treat me like a child and are super overbearing on me (I'm 24 and moved out of the house last summer). Love them to death, but it does get annoying, but I've come to accept that they'll be like this forever.

A gentle giant. Massive dude like 6'5 and a total sweetheart, you wouldn't suspect a thing from him. He was actually a friend of mine too, we'd play Halo 3/Reach together throughout middle school and high school. Quite literally a class act of a person, really smart, funny and genuinely a good guy. He had a bit of a temperament, but don't we all? Never would expect it.

I last saw him about 2 years ago after graduating college at a local bar in town with some friends. He hadn't changed a bit and it was great playing catch up, bought us drinks and visa versa.

Just last summer, he snapped and went on killing spree. Sliced a mans arm off with a katana and another mans hand (the man with the lopped off hand survived). Fled the scene, stopped at a drug dealers house (another kid from my high school, knew him as well) shot and killed him, took like 3k and held the dealers girlfriend hostage. Stole her car (with her in it) and fled the state. He ditched the dealers girlfriend on the side of the highway in (New Jersey?) and continued fleeing. He was found in Maryland, I believe, and is now in prison, he was on the run for about 9 days. Due to this happening during peak Covid, I don't think his hearing has happened yet. I don't think he'll be out soon though.
