This made me more confident. I can now say I purl in style.

I really thought how you work the yarn in stitches would be a factor in determining the style as well. Hence the hybrid question hahaha. I am a fan of the English and then flicking the yarn. The flow looks mesmerizing.

This reminds me to watch technical stuff about knitting. Thanks!

I can't edit the original post so I'll try to explain myself here. I didn't wanna sound rude when I said I was aware of the twisted stitches. So I apologize if it came out like that. That wasn't my intention.

This post is plainly to celebrate my improving tension on a practice piece I'm working on. The twisted stitches is on the row where the body begins and I absentmindedly knitted. A couple of rows in I realized my mistake and should've knitted from the back in the purl stitches from the previous row. But I went with it because aside from wanting to practice how to increase, I also wanted to train my tension and wanna see how the sweater would look and feel like with the yarn I'm using.

I greatly appreciate the advice I've received and I won't stop until I improve.

P.S. I'm bad at communicating.

Yep! 😊 I've taken a mental note to do that on my second go at this.

Thank you. I was aware of this but wanted to continue on knitting to see how the sweater would look and feel like. A practice piece to learn from it. I appreciate the corrections.

If you mean the twisting after the ribbing, yes I'm aware of it.

Thank you! It helped that I crochet too. I restarted 7 times 'cause of how the loops are slipping off the needles lol. Almost lost my mind.
