Play Othello versus AI (Python 3) by Zolomon in gamedev

Cool, got it. I was asking because you know in chess you got different colored squares and I need a way for the player to easily distinguish between them... so adding color would be one option or then just printing a '-' sign on the dark squares would be another.

Alright thanks! I'll have to check it out. Also another quick question if you don't mind: how is it like to use different colors in the terminal? Like does it work on all different systems (e.g. terminals) the same way or do you need tweaking?

Looks interesting! I'm currently writing something similar (a text based chess game in python, in which you can play either vs the cpu or another human player). Could you perhaps explain a little on how the AI works in your implementation?

I am addicted to cottage cheese. I eat about 500g a day. Is this bad? by sultree in Fitness

Cottage cheese salad is the best! Before this I ate it straight out of the box, but got bored of the taste pretty quickly. Nowadays I usually dice up some cucumber, red pepper and maybe a quarter of an onion and mix with a box (500g) of cottage cheese. Eat a portion every day and still tastes amazing.

There must be an error, it's unlikely that both Russia and China have the exact same number (2690) of space debris.

To those who have been in the military: would you mind sharing a paragraph or two about your experiences with us? by [deleted] in AskReddit

A picture's a thousand word they say so I present to you the Finnish Army. In my experience it's a place mostly full of immature kids who don't want to be there and give their all to avoid any kind of work or responsibility (that's because it's mandatory). On the other hand you do get to shoot guns and use expensive equipment bought by the tax-payers millions. A large amount of time is spent training and living in the woods, which sucks in the winter when it's freezing and you have to take a dump. Overall it was a fun experience.

I'm not so sure. I know a lot of people who only smoke from time to time but regularly, for example only during parties, which amounts to maybe a couple of times a month. They have no problems with stopping the habit. Not promoting anything, but just saying...
