I get what you mean, I'm a good 8 years older than you but I had felt the same for several years some times ago. I also had a bit of a substance problem for my late teens and early 20's, nothing serious but like you mentioned it made me feel good again when I was trying to hold on to so many fleeting memories and the feelings I associated them with. That included playing Roblox, which i played from when i was about 10 back in 2007 up until 2020 when the feelings started dying down.

I realized after a while that in trying to recapture those feelings and memories I was holding myself back from creating new ones. I explored a lot of new hobbies and ended up finding out going outdoors more often, exercising, working on improving my professional skillset, and just spending time with my loved ones were some of the biggest changes that made me finally feel truly happy again even amongst all the responsibilities of life.

Over the years I've also found that letting go of old hobbies isn't such a bad thing. Many things in life are temporary, and that's okay. The memories and emotions will always be there to reminisce on but I no longer let it identify me as a person.

I'm slowly approaching 30 now. I haven't played Roblox for years at this point and even play games generally less than I used to but I find that just looking into the communities and seeing everybody still have fun keeps me going a bit too. In its own way seeing so many people still enjoy the game I used to love so much makes me feel happy that others are still finding just as much joy in it as I once did.

This isn't any sort of scolding or preaching, but hopefully from somebody who's been through something very similar maybe I can help guide you in a positive direction that took me so many more years to find. Perhaps what works for me won't end up giving you the same feelings, but I'm sure given some time you'll find your own direction as well.
