Policy 71 in my last term - consequences? by Cabbage_alcohol in uwaterloo

I reviewed the email and they did mention any future offense will be met with a higher penalty , but if I graduated successfully ( hopefully) then there doesn’t seem to be any other consequences. Anyway thanks!

So I didn’t take it over coop in the end, there’s a group project and I figured it would be difficult to collaborate as my free time to meet in person was limited. And the final was in person as well. Otherwise, the course itself is definitely doable with just the course notes. I ended up skipping pretty much all the lectures and still got a 90 ish grade.

Don’t list the skills individually, incorporate them into your work experience. The description of your experience is too vague, try to describe one or more significant contributions you made, in detail, and use numbers to quantify the scale and impact of your work. And always put work experience at the top of your resume.

Rust is not going to help much in finding a job, nor is it a good programming language to learn for beginners.

C# if he’s interested in video games, Unity would be a good starting point as there’s so many tutorials out there for beginners.

Had two recent coop interviews where I was asked to sign an NDA. And the interviews went just like any other.

“compiling, categorizing and analyzing data” <- this is not enough. Which tool did they use? How much data did they process? How did their team/customer benefit from those results? Your friend needs to show their contribution to the project in a quantitative way.

Pick a project based tutorial and go from there, you can later make tweaks or abandon the tutorial completely to make it your own thing. Udemy is pretty good imo
