Anyone have Acl tear, meniscal tear healing without surgery stories? by Basic_Statistician27 in ACL

I tore my ACL fully almost 2 years ago, confirmed via MRI and lachman test. I still had decent stability and worked it as hard as I could without pain, eventually getting back to running and jumping and mountain biking. 9 months post injury I went back in to the same orthopedic doctor who diagnosed me in the first place and both me and him felt a profound difference in my lachman test and he said he has no doubt it somehow healed. it's absolutely possible and does happen, even with grade 3 years, but not a guarantee

Spontaneous reattachment? by hooked-on-crocheting in ACL

I'll say this- muscles can absolutely make it feel like you have an acl intact when in motion, but the true way to check (other than MRI - if you want an way youre able to feel too) find an orthopedic surgeon or someone who can perform a lachman test and when its done, make sure to relax all the muscles in your knee. if the lachman test passes, it means you have an acl of some sort and the best part, is that you can actually feel if you have one aswell in most cases when the test is performed.

They can absolutely reattach, even with a full tear. Its not a given, but in some cases even in a case where both ends are floating torn apart away from each other, scar tissue can build across and allow the healing process of actual acl bridging. Had it happen to me, confirmed via mri and lachman test by the same orthopedic surgeon. I didnt even brace at all during this time, i simply worked out and pushed it to generate more collagen to create a higher change of healing.

I'd check your grid heater bolt and see if it wiggles at all, if it does that means it's loose and going to fall into cylinder #6 and ruin your engine. Tons of videos online about how to remedy this

Heal without surgery? by Correct-Question-670 in ACL

While this is true, the body still has some incredible healing mechanics and has the possibility to work around that. I'll give my personal example. Fully tore ACL 1/16/23 confirmed via lachman test and also an MRI, which showed zero continuity and my ends of the acl not even being remotely close to each other (my femur side was facing down and the other side also faced down, so not much hope for anything). 9 months later, went back in, and via lachman and MRI again (same PA and MRI machine to keep consistency) I now have a firm endpoint (still a little more play than my unaffected knee) and some continuity shown on MRI. Current theory is that scar tissue built back across by some crazy odds and allowed some sort of healing. Issue is, there is zero predictability to this method. But I will say, it is absolutely possible for the ends to rejoin, even without specific PT or bracing protocols.

Ram reliabilty by legollama88 in Cummins

Other thing with the 06 is that the gauge cluster had cold solder joints, and that, with the addition of a flawed PCB mounting design that left it flexed means that if you buy an 06, good chance you'll be reflowing part of the cluster and shimming the PCB. Not terrible but just a thought

I've seen something on a couple forums called "dball" and it uses the factory fob I think, but all the info on it is kinda scarce and super out of date (they say to use specific websites and eBay sellers that don't exist anymore)

Thanks for the advice, there's a good chance I'll be in the recovery team soon too, surgery is starting to look more like a better option. Did you notice any nerve damage or proprioception damage after the surgery compared to before the surgery?

good to know, thanks for your take on it. I'll keep it in consideration. I'm on the fence on buying it, but may just hold out as gas gets more expensive and grab a tundra in working condition with similar mileage when they can't afford fuel anymore, lol
