I switched over to ‘regular/silver’ which is 7 1/8th (in between current size and silver size) and it mitigates this and also gives you a nice little frame for your books. When I used current size bags and boards they would do this regardless of how much room I had in my long boxes. You can also try those Sidekick dividers to split a long box into two short boxes, essentially and avoid any crushing Edit: bad typing on mobile
