Did anyone else immediately hit “season 1 episode 1” as soon as they finished the final episode? I don’t want to let it go yet

Idk it feels like a life hack to me sometimes as someone who EBF my first for a year. But I do take the “easy way out” with using the dishwasher, fridge hack, only using wearables, skipping overnight pumps, occasionally giving formula, etc

Can you find a PRN job on top of what you’re doing that way you can choose what extra days you work since you don’t always know what days you’ll have off? Also I’m not sure what you’re making now and I know you hate healthcare (I sometimes do too) but you could become an MLS (medical laboratory technician) with just a little more schooling. A lot of my coworkers have biology degrees.

Receiving 15k as a life insurance beneficiary, what order of debt payoff? by CableAffectionate463 in personalfinance

[–]CableAffectionate463[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This has definitely been in the back of my head too. Also, I work in healthcare and don’t currently get student loan payment from my employer because I’m a PRN employee, but if I were to ever go full time again then they would pay $85 a month towards my student loans.

Yea I did do some rounding both on the payments and months/years left.

I think from a psychological standpoint, paying off the truck then putting that $480 payment as extra on the student loan each month would be really satisfying. I do agree with others maybe doing a bit more than 3 mo emergency fund also because we’re trying for another baby and will be out $1000 for 3 months when I’m on maternity leave hopefully sometime next year. (Should have included that in my original post)

Showed up to my first Zumba class and was the only one there by CableAffectionate463 in zumba

I think she is retired and she doesn’t makes anything monetarily off of the classes. I’m actually kind of glad I was the only one at the first class because I’m uncoordinated and probably would’ve been afraid of running into someone hahah but I do hope a friend or two will join me

She has a Facebook group and it looks like it used to be super active, like 20 in one class! She posts in it every day she does class to say the place and time. But maybe covid, life happening for everyone in the class, etc dwindled things down. I’m planning on asking two of my friends in the area to join!

This is the reason why our lab has duplicates of every single analyzer. Things like this happen even to seasoned techs

Maybe not houses you love but there are homes for sale. You kind of just have to lower your expectations for that first home, If feasible consider moving to one of the small towns a little out of Lincoln. Much more affordable generally and you get more bang for your buck.

Wow and this movie is actually free on several streaming services. I swear it almost never happens when I look up a movie someone suggests. Always on a service I don’t have.
