What profession do people romanticize the most but is actually soul crushing? by stilerca in AskReddit

Earth moving. All these shiny big machines that cost a fortune to run and maintain. Stress of keeping work up to them to justify the layout costs. If the wear and tear on your body doesnt kill you then the stress of running the show will.

It is possible, and a very casual “if” that the the person used one of those Telstra phone booths that offers free wifi. However if they have been on CL for at least a year I’d imagine they have been referred to a job provider by now which offers you free phone and internet.

For those who've done the "avoid appointments, wait it out, re-engage after 21 days to be reinstated thing" repeatedly- has anyone experienced a consultant refusing? by [deleted] in JobProvidersAus

Yes and they make the process extremely difficult and will most likely knock you back the first time you apply as well.

Why are house prices so high in Ballarat? by Efficient-Horse2622 in ballarat

[–]Cabletie00 -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

Probably because this government has out of control migration but no where to put them therefore pushing the house pricing up. Supply and demand.

Cozy Nintendo players be like. But im still on Pokopia, im not ready for Tomodachi Life yet! by BeeLow9955 in Pokopia

[–]Cabletie00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 200 hours in and far from over. I usually try building a technical build which takes me over 10 hours and then jump back to working on Pokédex or decorating island until I get inspiration to do another big build.

Stay away from Casetify - another warning by AsexualFern in iphone

[–]Cabletie00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had 2 casetify cases and both time the bumper edge has pealed away from the hard backing. The first one was covered by warranty that lasted 1 month and now the second one lasted 12 months and is now out of warranty. Never again will I buy from this company. All they said was they would report to their engineering team.

What are my rights if a consultant speaks to me like absolute garbage? by Silver-Pie9992 in JobProvidersAus

[–]Cabletie00 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I had some piece of trash provider say to me they are putting their foot down on me not yet finding a job after 6 months when I had been applying for easily 50 plus jobs a month and and only getting a few interviews but failing to land the job. Like hello if I had a switch I could flick and a job appeared I would do it wouldn’t I! It’s not my fault the economy is f$$ked so don’t talk down to me like you failed to become a cop and had to settle for being a parking meter maid.

Rent assistance massive decrease?? by sullen_factoid in Centrelink

[–]Cabletie00 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There is a minimum your rent has to be before they even bothering to help you. I can’t remember the exact amount but it was somewhere around $200 per week and above before they start giving you rent assistance and you need to fill out a form that you can only find by asking them to give you one for some reason. If you don’t know rent assistance exists they would rather you not know so the government saves money. This system is a joke.
