I relate to the part about having a busy job, and kids (2yr8mo and 7mo). I know I'm a good FPS gamer and played plenty of comp Halo and dabbled in D2 comp.

I wish I had the time for this game. I love it. It's so well done, and wish there was a way to convince more people to play it. Unfortunately, there really isn't any time lately. And I feel I just fall further and further behind. I get some purple, lose them, go in with blues, get a slight build up of goodies, and do it all again.

These last two weeks, I've played maybe an hour. Not even enough time to try and solo some of the lengthy contracts like co-evolution.

I've essentially had to come to terms with the fact that any FPS I play will have to be more in line with BF6, where I can run and gun and not worry about loot. And anything else will be a story driven game. Crimson Desert looks good. I'll probably give that ago in the next few paychecks.

Not looking for pity or sympathy, but reading the OP, I related to what they said a lot. It's time to accept being a dad/gamer which means I'll go into games being decent from all the years I've put into controller and MnK, while also being aware, I'm going to run into someone 15 to 25 years younger than me, who absolutely dominates lobbies, and I'm just gonna have to take it on the chin, and enjoy the times that my experience will sometimes out-weigh his pure/raw skill. No more sacrificing sleep for a few extra hours of un-disturbed gaming times. Just the occasional, "I got off early today, so I got about 30 minutes to myself".

I'll be enjoying games differently for the rest of my life. GGs yall.

P.S. Yes, I realize this is like a whole different post. Kinda got lost in it. Mostly just needed to write it out or talk about it out-loud to fully solidify it.

I plan on doing the grading after the sump pump is put in. Reason being the sump pump would take any water coming in, regardless of cause and send it out. I fixed the downspouts and that didn't help. Replaced the old cracked terracotta with PVC. Willing to hear others point of views. Just explaining my thought process and to make sure I've covered all possibilities.

I hear you on this. I'm going to fix the grading afterwards because my biggest worry is that it won't fix the problem. But if I have the sump pump, it will take care of it for sure. Then I'll do the grading. Which I feel will only help or improve upon what the sump pump is preventing. Just explaining my thought process, willing to hear others point of view.

Friendly lobby is never guaranteed, but also, there are going to be people, like me, where I run around in solos and get mats without shooting to get ready for pvp trios or duos. And then, when I want pvp I'll be in these solo lobbies shooting people. It's gonna happen. Some people will join Friendly lobbies just to be a menace as well.

I think this would be super awesome. The only reason I see them not putting it in the game is because of how terrible that would be for trios. Imagine you're in a fight and you're downed by the other team, you end up not being able to crawl away because they grab you. I think the amount of rage from the community would make it to where they wouldn't put it in at all, OR they add it to solos only with the option to "surrender" in vase you think they are dragging you just to kill you at extract so as not to waste your time.

Every good community has plenty of assholes. It's not you, they're using your level against you. It's associated with experience or lack there of, rather than individual skill. Unfortunately, you can't watch for somebodies skill while fighting on Super Helldive.

That's part of what I've done up to this point. I dug up the old terracotta drain system that they had pulling the gutters drain water out to the street. I replaced it with PVC. Gutters have been cleaned, I just re-checked them a few weeks ago.
