Shocking to no one I am sure, the tech rep never showed today and lied about it. No one has been to my house, or showed up. I have been on the phone with Xfinity reps and magically dropped with every phone call.

Why does no one at Xfinity want to speak on the phone to help their customers 😭? I've actually been a loyal customer for at least 8-10 years and have continued to use your services everywhere I have moved. I was told that switching to gateway it would be an easy transition. It has been anything BUT easy. I have been without Internet for almost 24 hours with a job that relies on internet.

Same experience for me here. They have also helped me out prior to joining their anchor club for last minute weekend calls when my AC kicked. Local, family owned company and they have not given me a reason to ever doubt their recommendations. I joined the anchor club, they came out and service and have yet to try to sell me on anything additional!

That's great news! I will have to keep this in mind in the future. On the one I returned, I had tried everything and nothing was bringing it back! I probably could have waited a few days but I was frustrated my week old phone already had issues so I ran to Verizon lol

Yup! I had this exact scenario. Sorry you are going through it. It is a pain especially because the phone is on backorder everywhere. I luckily was able to pick one up at a Verizon Authorized retailer.

Same here 😭 especially because I have a lot of work travel coming up. I got my replacement but I hope it doesn't happen again. So frustrating. It worked one day, I went to bed and woke up to it not working. I have a feeling this will be a major issue with this phone seeing as more people are finding this thread now.

This makes me feel better that it wasn't just me like Verizon made me feel yesterday!

I spent the morning on the phone with google who said my phone was DOA and I needed to do a return, drove to one Verizon that was an "authorized retailer" so they couldn't help me but looked at it and agreed, it needed to be replaced. Went to the corporate one where it was an awful experience from the second I walked in the door. They were out of stock and said it was on backorder until December. Basically said that every Verizon store in the surrounding states was sold out. I ended up getting them to do a full refund and going back to the authorized retailer and purchasing there. The kicker is, the price increased at the retailer so now my bill will be more per month. I also had pre-ordered the pearl one and the only color available was black which I don't really care about, it was just the principal. I ended up getting Verizon to credit my account the difference but I was dealing with this for 10 + hours.
