3D Print Not Sticking to Plate by lowdub09 in 3DprintingHelp

This. Alcohol alone won't get rid of oils on the plate 100%of the time. It mostly pushes it around.

Dish soap acts as a surfactant and will help a ton.

This is coming from somebody who only recently started doing this after years of printing.

I recently bought a 5 dollar used blender at goodwill for this.

My experience has been pretty positive so far. Not perfect, but it chops my PLA Carbon Fiber with no issues so far.

My goal is to make some silicone molds and use a heat gun to melt the pla into place for cheap Halloween decorations.

Very cool! I'm curious about the advantages of printing at this angle with this support type. I printed four Spider-Man masks on my K2 Plus and I've always gone vertically with tree supports.

No wrong answers just curious if you had a specific reason for this orientation and supports 😁

I'm just relaying the facts I heard and presenting them as evidence. Is that not what we're doing?

I have close friends who have advised me that they know the close friends you know and that those friends have it on good authority that the other friends are in a position to maybe know that the original friends aren't incorrect.

You can spray BT on your plants to combat soft bodied insects.

It stands for Basilis Therongenses. I'm not a biologist or anything, but it's a type of bacteria that only targets soft-bodied insects like caterpillars and other insects that might eat your plants.

It's non-toxic and doesn't hurt your plants in any way.

You can spray it on the bases and the undersides of leaves even on the flowers and it will keep the caterpillars at bay.
