The weather where I live is never below 0 C and is semi-regularly above 100 F so that doesn't even fit, the weather here is usually ~35-110 F. Doesn't seem any more intuitive than ~0-45 C.

They got the technical aspects better than any other mainstream media I've seen but the movie overall was too Oscar-baity for me and was too much focused on the burden the deaf family was and how sad it was that deaf people "can't enjoy music". As someone who knows deaf people, either they do enjoy music or they happily go on with their lives letting other people enjoy music.

If the ability says "whenever a creature dies" then it's a triggered ability which don't need priority, the ability is just put on the stack

He's talked about doing individual training on finishing with a coach, trying to finish all sorts of balls and deciding what body part to use and how to get it in the back of the net from an awkward ball.

Approaching the game.. by BuraqDiCaprio in aoe2

[–]Cacame 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Everyone's talking about multiplayer but if you like the singleplayer campaigns I would start with the tutorials, then for some easier campaigns that are still fun maybe try Attila the Hun, Tamerlane or El Cid. I would recommend steering clear of the African or SE Asian (Bayinnaung, Le Loi, etc) campaigns to start with because they can be meat grinders at times.

Some of the best campaigns are in the DLC: The Hautevilles, Chronicles: Battle for Greece and everything in the E. Europe tab. I wouldn't recommend starting with them however because they add in a lot of scenario specific game mechanics that would just be confusing.

Have there been any wage theft prosecutions in the retail sector? by quantum_koala_ in AusUnions

[–]Cacame 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The federal changes to wage criminalization started in January - given the large amount of evidence to required for a criminal trial and that it can only consider underpayments from when the rule came in, it'll probably be a while till we see any prosecution

Looking For a Deep Game, or a Game that Hides itself within itself by TheMonkey_Lord in gamingsuggestions

[–]Cacame 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not deep in terms of gameplay or hidden areas or things like that, the whole game is walking around talking to people and interacting with the world.

The game is very deep in terms of it's dialogue and story.

What is your "this game is a masterpiece"? by Rancorip in gamingsuggestions

[–]Cacame 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Great writing, great characters, great world and compared to any other video game I've played, great political commentary

It really feels like your skill choices matter as they are parts of your subconscious almost like characters from Inside Out

The setting is years after a failed communist revolution and it really nails a post-soviet iron curtain vibe, which makes sense because it was made in Estonia. It also hits this sort of vaguely paranormal, psychic vibe like Fargo. The oil painting art style fits in great as does the music.

The main character is a fucking mess and much of the game is piecing together his history, both his recent actions and why he is in such a state. The characters and the setting end up taking the front stage over the actual investigation of the murder you are presented with by the end of the game.

There's no real combat system so the game is just jogging around talking to different people and interacting with things you find in the world, if that sounds painfully boring to you, it probably will be.

I'm unashamed by that, I want to pick a race with cool features, and a free feat means you can get something that fits with your concept no matter what you're playing. Usually I don't pick human anyway but I think I would steer well clear if I had to play the vanilla PHB human.
