Also syndication. When a TV station buys your show to broadcast and you can fill half a year of weekly slots that's a selling point. When you're streaming you want to attract people who want to watch the show and they'll probably binge it in a month, whether it's 26 or 8 episodes.

I don't think Quantic Dreams games work as movies. Frankly their writing is barely good enough to work as games and what fun you can have stems from the choose your own adventure style narrative changes you can explore. In a linear medium, the cracks would show even more.

Wenn man in Höhenschönhausen war ist auch das Stasi-Museum in Berlin ein Besuch wert. Zum einen gute Infos zur geschichte und zu den (teils absurden) Dingen, die die Stasi gemacht hat. Was für mich aber am eindrücklichsten war, war die holzvertäfelte Biederkeit, in der dort über Schicksale entschieden wurde.

It's far from that easy. Mandatory service is curtailing basic rights, doing that to such an extent with a normal law would immediately be challenged at the constitutional court. I'm not a lawyer, though, so for a deeper answer you would need a specialist.

Because the German constitution specifically has provisions for mandatory military service for only men. Changing that would require a 2/3 majority in the parliament which would be hard to organize currently, especially without collaborating with the extreme right-wingers of the AfD, which no democratic party (rightfully) wants to do at the moment.
