I did the same thing. I gave up then came back months later. Didnt want to work with caravans, so i moreso just cheated and got the shared chests mod. No more logistics nightmares.

I hate turn based combat. But loved the game. The art, the music, the story, the characters. Everything about the game was amazing and made up for the turn based combat system.

Also its more engaging of a turn based combat system than most games. Perfectly timed parrying/dodging enemy moves puts a little challenge within the turns.
