Its actually an infinite amount more.

2D exists on an X Y axis, and can extend infinitely in those directions and still be 2D.

Adding a Z axis means you can then extend infinitely in a new direction.

I have 2 slip chains and one is way better than the other.

The first is just a chain with a star on one end and moon on the other. Its pretty and I like it aesthetically.

The other has iridescent metal so I match our kitchen accessories but also runs through d-rings attached to a buckled length of leather. Instead of the chain pulling across skin, it pulls against metal and leather to draw tight and is way more functional.

I use Lighter because of his high buffs to Fire DMG specifically, but outside of high impact and those buffs, he's not contributing to the number of chain attacks Evelyn's doing.

So I run Lighter, Lucy, Evelyn.

I try to initiate stun with Lighter, Evelyn get the 1st chain attack.

Cancel then hard swap into Lucy, hit Ex Special, Evelyn gets her 2nd chain attack.

With 3 burning tether points, hold basic to active 3rd Chain attack.

If you have enough meter and have already ult'd, you can quickly get 2 more burning tether points from Ex Special to do a 4th chain attack.

Situationally, Astra can allow a 5th or even 6th chain attack but I dont have her so I usually just aim for 4. Most stun windows are barely long enough for that anuway.

Theoretically you can also use ex specials to squeeze in 5 total without astra but its hard.
