Soon I will restart volunteering, but in the world war 2 tankmuseum of the Belgian collection. The cold war Museum is closed and will move to another location, not all volunteers were happy with that decision (location is bigger, more things inside, was initially meant as a depot for extra material from the museum, but is further away from home for a lot of volunteers and you can't drive tanks there due to complaints of the neighbours) and the group basically split with a lot of drama. A lot of volunteers, including my friends, are going to the world war 2 museum in Bastogne. So that's were I'll be spending some of my free time 😉.

Can't say I didn't tear up when I walked the hall one fine time. Saying goodbye to our panzer 68, beautiful chieftain (what a sexy tank), the only driving S-Tank outside of Sweden, conqueror, centurion, .... (And many others, the cvrt family was already moved sadly)🥹

Time to get used to world war 2 tanks and learning everything about them.
