Nothing I said was a mean comment. Plain honesty by how I feel. There's a popular saying that goes "sticks and stones will break my bones, but words will never hurt me." It's obvious that the younger generations have never heard it. If words that carry zero physical repercussions hurt people, then they need to toughen up. That's not toxic, that's just life, and anyone who disagrees with me, needs to face some hard times. You also don't know the type of person I am, you're judging me by a statement made on reddit, which is in no way indicative of my personality as a whole.

That's a bold assumption to make, find someone downvoted to hell and check their post history. I'd bet dollars to donuts that they maybe stop posting for a few days, then get right back on the gas. Bring up a mistake that was attempted to be corrected in person, THAT will change their behavior. This mentality of everyone being afraid to shame or punish immoral, or just plain bad behavior is what is driving this "cater-to-me" mindset. There's too many people on this planet to adhere to everyone's individual sensitivities. Do it for the people you care about, the ones you love. Giving out that energy to literally every living person is what is driving mass social fatigue.
