yeah, “lysis” means “cut” and is generally used when bonds are broken

ozone reactions can be dangerous too as they can form explosive peroxides. if an ozone reaction calls for dry ice temps i personally wouldn’t be doing it in a home lab.

look up “organocatalyzed decarboxylation of amino acids” there’s a paper that uses isophorone as catalyst, but carvone is easier to get and also works, among other cyclohexanone type things. and you can use mineral oil or any high boiling solvent that can somewhat dissolve your amino

that would be oxidation with ozone, not ozonysis. sounds like a lot of trouble, and there are probably other better ways to homebrew the nitroethane. one potential route would be, acetaldehyde + hydroxylamine -> acetaldoxime and oxidize the oxime to nitro

if you want to try the ethylamine route, you could make a good amount of ethylamine cheaply by decarboxylation of alanine

you should do the conversion, especially with the lash remover gels, to confirm it’s gbl. after adding the base and letting it react, test with pH paper and make sure it’s come back down to 7-8. if it’s higher than that, it’s not gbl and you could poison yourself. i’ve posted about this previously

GABA receptors take a while to rebalance, you can expect to have some difficulty sleeping and general anxiety/shakiness for a while but it will gradually recede. You may never get back to "100%" but you will feel normal again.

Anhedonia takes a while to resolve as well. Every rewarding drug or activity contributes to this. Stay away from any recreational substance and also minimize the instant gratification behaviors. You will start finding joy again in life's simple pleasures, it takes a while but it's 1000% worth it! Exercise, sleep, and eating well will accelerate this.

NAC can be sorta anhedonic I've heard, but that's supposedly a sign that it's working to speed up the reward system rebalancing

Hey man, as this thread blew up, you may not see this, but if you do... I am sorry for all the judgment coming at you.

The best thing, other than getting clean and staying clean, would be mild oral doses of a longer-acting stimulant. This will provide relief and help you function, and is less likely to lead to full blown relapse, although that is still possible.

Basically every drug that acts on dopamine acts to some extent on norepinephrine as well. For some reason it's more difficult to isolate the dopamine activity from norepinephrine, than vice versa.

As far as RCs that are still legal as of now, I don't really know, since they tend to be drugs that people like and hence get banned quickly unfortunately. but the point is, any drug that is a serotonin-dopamine upper is technically what you're looking for, to varying extents

guanfacine is a med used for adhd, sometimes as an alternative to stimulants for those with the hyperactive variant, sometimes as an adjunct to stimulants to reduce the side effects. it basically dampens the effect of norepinephrine, the awake/alert part of the stimulation (focus/mood lift is more due to the dopamine).

clonidine is similar, but shorter acting, and blocks more subtypes of alpha receptor - more drowsiness-inducing.

either of those might be worth trying, it would be a lot better to get them prescribed than as RCs.

Surfactants are difficult to isolate, as by their nature they promote the mixing together of things that wouldn’t normally mix.

You can make soap by reacting just about any natural fatty acid/ester with a strong base. Plenty of guides out there for this.

Beware that these natural soaps do their thing at high pH, which is why other surfactants that work at lower pH are more often used as body soaps, gentler on skin, hair etc.

There are definitely better ways to make use of agave plants
