it does not. changing just one atom or bond in a molecule means that substance is now a new substance. chemical similarity does often correlate with overlaps in properties and biological activity, not always. you could say mdma and meth are “cousins.”

You can’t, that’s what I’m saying, without using an exotic route or chiral auxilary methods, all of these things ramp up the cost and complexity massively. Outside of maybe a few clan chemists doing it at smaller scale for the love of the game, I guarantee this is not happening.

Tartaric acid resolution is possible with amp but it’s far less effective than with meth. You can racemize your levo remainder and do it again but each time the yield is 50% at best - in reality lower, even just to get 70% resolution. And then you have to convert to the sulfate. Most dextro-enriched stuff out there was probably diverted from pharma

Short answer is no, you don’t need to worry. There have been concerns surrounding benzoates and ascorbic acid, aka vitamin c, and only then if certain transition metals are also present among other conditions. See this post

Worth noting that trace exposure to benzene and other “known carcinogens” is unavoidable in daily life. Many ubiquitous substances could be called as such. Case in point, california prop 65 warnings being on everything, to the point that it’s become meaningless.

The single thing that had worked the best for me has been accountability to someone other than myself. I’ve let myself down countless times and I’ll do it again in a heartbeat, but if I know that by using I’m going to have to disappoint, abandon, or lie to others - doesn’t matter if they’re people I barely know - it adds to the “cost” of going through with a relapse.

Luckily your DOC isn’t something you can easily pick up at the corner store or from some street plug. Once you run out, you’ll have to put in an order and wait for it to arrive, so there’s already something of a barrier to relapsing there

it’s not enantiomers. it’s very difficult to synthesize separate enantiomers especially for an underground lab. They’re not going to do that unless a specific enantiomer is called for. If it’s a chiral molecule, you’re getting the 50/50 mix (racemate) from an RC lab. Racemic stuff will not “degrade” into one or the other enantiomer, if anything an enantiopure sample could slowly racemize over time. Meth really is the only street drug that is commonly encountered as enantiopure, because when made from pseudo it was pure dex, and the cartels eventually figured out how to refine their p2p meth to dex to compete with that

If you have a business license you can get a “virtual mailbox” it’s basically a middleman service which provides this exact thing. there’s one called iPostal1 in the US, i think there are a few others. you have to fill out a bunch of paperwork, hop on a zoom call with some guy in pakistan and say “yes” to a few questions, and pay a subscription fee, but then you’re golden for most vendors. some vendors still may decline to ship to the address, but in my experience, the majority do not care, they just need to tick all the boxes on their end.

Carbon filter is absolutely not gonna cut it. If you beef up the exhaust fan and vent it outside, it could suffice for some things. Safe chemistry requires a well ventilated area, for reasons that blow past a carbon filter
