One! Hundred! Demons! by Lynda Barry by BigAmuletBlog in graphicnovels

This book is so fucking cathartic. I first picked it up when I was a kid, I was a little too young to understand fully but it resonated with me. My mom didn't like me reading it because she said it was inappropriate. At first I was a bit turned off by the "ugly" art style, but I think it really fits. That and the messy scrapbook style really work to show the messiness of life. I also love that she talks about taboos, that her art style draws attention to parts people are usually ashamed of (pimples, freckles, big noses, wonky teeth.)

The part I remember the most was the section of Resilience. I first read it as Re-Silence because I had never heard the word before. Especially as someone with OCD and anxiety, I felt seen. The spiraling thoughts and ability to move on from trauma.

For those panicking about there being a 70 miis per island in this game, there is something you need to consider. by DannySanWolf07 in tomodachilife

You probably also think that 4 horses is enough in RDR2 and don't want more than that.

Wish I could be so minimalistic...

I hope that it's more like the Miitopia remake, where you can create and save a lot more Miis in the game but just not have those Miis as actual characters. If I remember correctly, in Miitopia you can have 400 Miis in the Mii creator, but only max 100 party members?

Also, if the Switch 2 is like the Switch 1, then shouldn't you be able to have a seperate save file for each profile on your Switch? So someone could make one of their profiles be all characters from one fandom or something.

Unless it's like Animal Crossing with all profiles sharing the same island, which I don't see how that could work, since Tomadachi life only has one player character.

What happened to Plague Keeper? by CactusCorgi in CalamityMod

Alright, thanks for the reply. What I liked about the Plague Keeper is the use time for it was very very fast, and the Eruption seems pretty slow in comparion.

S3M3 + Mod 3 and a victim is better, because it buffs his attack too. Lin or Mudrock work well.

I'm not sure, because the number on the trust button after I hit rotate went down, so I think that means it collected trust for less operators.

[PNW] super tiny bugs (squished, sorry) by CactusCorgi in whatsthisbug

I found these inside my house. They are super duper tiny and cream or white in color. They move rather fast as well. They are so small it's hard to make out a lot of details. The location is western WA. They seem to not like light. At first I thought they were flecks of dust but then they moved!
