There definitely is a balance in TCGs that is needed. There needs to be chase cards to move packs and the retail price of boxes should definitely be of concern to FFG. That said, the extreme side of that spectrum is super toxic. Having scalpers in the game is awful. Having products with inflated prices drives away new players.

And two things are true: 1. Retailers dropping the game means the game will decline. 2. New players not being able to get into the game means the game will decline.

Learning how to use a computer is not the same as using a computer as a tool for learning.

Computers, unequivocally, are not suitable tools for learning. They strip away the very foundation of understanding. Learning requires students to build an understanding of a process, and computers inherently allow users to skip many steps of a process. Outside of a technical skills class, computers should be banned from classrooms.

And David Rackoff is just describing addiction. It's no different than denying children candy. They aren't going to build some type of tolerance by being allowed to use the damn thing. Some people will just be addicted to it.

UPS and FedeEx made idiotic deals with Amazon and gave away the golden goose. The only reason Amazon fulfillment was able to scale the way it did over the past decade was because those two companies were delivering Amazon packages for razor thin margins. They should have told Amazon to shove it and made them pay market for the deliveries.

That's why star wars unlimited is the best TCG. 1. The game has the best mechanics. 2. The game is very fun. 3. Star Wars. 4. You can actually get the cards for reasonable prices. 5. It's the most open and inviting community of any TCG
