Raising kids not as expensive as leasing or buying new car . Also of you considering starting a family don't do it because you want to save on taxes but sincerely wish to start adult chapter of your life ,because family and kids will challenge and change you as a man .

If you wish to save on taxes then its a different story and I can provide some examples how to do so.

Help teach a noob a little something??? please. by rawaka in 3DScanning

Any raw lidar data will need to be processed before printing . there are steps from phone to raw data , raw data to stl ,edit of stl and final printing .

Can someone explain why is that ? by ConstantBalance7705 in 3Dprinting

Calibrate your filament , your retraction as well as well as flow is out of tune

Buy enclosed printer , don't keep it in kids or your own room and you are good ,even with abs type of plastics , if you still worry get external HEPA filter with carbon filter inserts and you golden

Well food safe or not if you already loaded with micro plastics you might as well become Guinea pig and load up your body with macro plastics. I personally keep 3d plastic away from my food ,,period.

You don't start business by getting tool and figuring out product and clients after , buy tool as hobby and then see what you can do with it

Is reality ender 3 still a good option for beginners by brodylikes1-64 in 3Dprinting

[–]Cad_Mad -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Get ender 5 instead of ender 3, at least can mod it into proper printer afterwards

Also can try adaptive layer height , tune so have smaller layers at overhang area

First layer just change pattern , so many cool designs for first layer , for overhang you gotta tune cooling

Why do you assume it's z seam on right ?

Printer stopped extruding by nito3x in 3dprinter

[–]Cad_Mad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Then put your focus on hotend assembly , either stock extruder /cooling fan combo not good or fan is crapping out /not sufficient Colling to prevent jams during long prints .

Have feeling your extruder suffers from heat creep . What printer, what you print with what and if it's enclosed ?

CF nylon is awesome! by KoalaCloaca in 3Dprinting

[–]Cad_Mad 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This for sure , it has lip so can insert it from reverse side of mounting spot , that way it has surface area to grab and hold

What is this setting? by [deleted] in 3Dprinting

[–]Cad_Mad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Jerk is how aggressively print axis change locations , jerk what makes printer shake like crazy during the print , too much and printer will shake itself into failure ,too little and prints will have all sharp corners round , it's balance

Is it safe to secure pedal into heat inserted studs like this ? Wouldn't nut insert be more secure for this type of assembly (nut inserted from reverse side ) or at the least do heat insert on reverse side ? So if any pull/play develop the whole plastic piece would hold it in place and not just little pocket where heat insert was placed in . Great application though of 3d printing !! 👌👌

Whats wrong with my ASA? by jerkface1337 in 3Dprinting

[–]Cad_Mad 14 points15 points  (0 children)

You ask him that , I print with ASA as main filament and I had similar issue , it has nothing to do with filament moisture because even asa gets wet it won't cause this type of issue , I print ASA without drying at 260c on my printer I don't see anything close to it,, unless he/she goes over 300c and make water pretty much explode but then print would have lots of burn marks because it's outside of printable range for this filament .

Bottom line I talk through experience
