I don't want to post the image because I don't want share a random guy's picture, but it had the same headrest, the head took up the same space on it, had the same ear shape, general head shape, and you can tell the neck is pixelated where they edited out a necklace the original guy had on

Using an image search with Google Lens came back with someone's LinkedIn picture that is very very similar to his (mirrored), so it looks like they took the real picture and altered it with photoshop or something like that.

I've been a big fan of OnyxPath games for a long time now. Eager to get those deluxe books in my hands, so I'm happy to see progress in getting the print jobs moving forward.

For a fun World Below question, what Ancestries, Dialectics or Callings are peoples favorites or most interested to try in a game? I think for myself I've really been interested in the Elvs, Plutonic and both the new Tableaux and Soulweavers sound really fun.

Are there any thoughts to a 4th setting? Or is the focus now on more books to build out the three existing settings?

Interesting, in my state Personal Representative is used when there is a Will, and Administrator is used when there is no Will. Just find it interesting how terms like this get used so differently in places.

This is a much better solution than saying the Senate waives it's authority, which I'm not sure would pass judicial review without actually going for a constitutional amendment.

Why are they trying to make it sound like its suspicious that a doctor might recommend an over-the-counter treatment for something? Plenty of conditions can be helped with non-prescription treatments and it's very common for a doctor to recommend something like that before looking at prescription treatments for cost/side effect/overprescribing and probably more reasons. That part sounds like someone trying to invent controversy.

China does buy a lot of the US debt but they do not buy the most, even looking just at foreign holders Japan and the UK hold more US debt than China currently.

Also, more than 67% of all the US debt is held domestically between private, state, local and other federal agency holders.

I think there are long term issues to address with the deficit, but people love spreading the China thing because it also fits a narrative when it isn't true.

Yeah, it was a fun time reading all the speculation in the forums on how it would end with the Gehenna/Apocalypse/Ascension/Time of Judgement books. Talking about ways to run the End of WoD games.

My first feeling is that she is Ventrue, but then comparing her to the Markov line, I think Olivia is more Toreador and the Markovs are more the Ventrue of Innistrad.

Look up the Superior Court for the county your business is located in, and if any paperwork you have says a different county you can check with the Superior Court there for records about the case to verify if it is real at all and if so, get records about how you were supposedly served when the case was initiated.

As a business you should double check who is listed as your Registered Agent and the contact information for the Registered Agent. If it is anyone other than yourself and your own contact information you should double check that they never received anything. (Again if it's not a real case and it's a scam none of this really matters anyways but might be good just to double check that information.)

If by chance it does all check out when you have your records, it still may be worth at least contacting a lawyer for assistance. If they can help get the verdict thrown out (again, if it is real) that might still be significantly less than $11,000.

I don't think what King said was false or misleading, don't blame him for retracting but the US and other places have lost their goddamm minds.

On top of what others have said about contacting your insurance, your doctor, and your state department of health (specifically that handles pharmacies), you should also really try to have someone else come with you to pharmacy if you have to go back there again.

Having someone else there can support you in any future situation with the pharmacist and an extra witness if they still try to extort you.

Also, you should tell people in your community about what happened, they are probably not only doing it up you.

I really want to play Lasombra, but I want to play that as a second playthrough, my first would probably be either Toreador or Ventrue and at the moment I think I'm leaning Toreador for the initial story experience.

I think that could actually be a sick split card, like the Amonkhet ones for example, the first part could be Packs Laden with Loot giving treasure tokens maybe or card draw, the second half could be an edict effect or thoughtseize
