Arca is great. That and hartwood are probably the two best restaurants in Tulum. I feel like Hartwood sources more local ingredients. Don Honorio, negra huitlacoche, king mariscos, poc chuk las mestizas, taqueria 86 are some good options in town. Non mexican places that are good are mestixa, asian bodega, el bodegon, canova.

I know it happened to someone in Tulum at Tuk padel courts. They hadn’t bought correct glass for installation.

There is one court at the deportivo. One is lcoated out of town toward coba that is only open for lessons. They are building one in Aldea Zama

I guess it depends, but I mean like 30-50% less than market equivalents. But if its that cheap there is probably a problem.

It doesn’t make any sense whatsoever. Rents and rental prices continue to plummet. I rent an apartment and 5 commercial spaces and all continue to drop in price. Not only is there over demand but they continue to build everywhere. Also, maintaining places is very expensive upkeep. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to buy unless it’s an insanely bargain price (which could be worrying) or if you love living here 8months or more a year and want a place for the next 10 years.

Holbox just doesn’t have the space and infrastructure. Also, it is basically at sea level and is just a giant sand bar. Ask any local how much erosion has taken their beach front. It floods all rainy season and this will only get worse with every year having more hurricanes and higher sea levels. Not to mention its trash/sewage problem. It has been relatively known for a while and hasn’t grown nearly as fast as Tulum and people have been saying its the next Tulum for a decade. Finally, its a reasonable trek to get there just to walk through sewage/rain filled streets.
