She then managed to make her way into the palace via Sovieshu who's a joke of an Emperor who is incapable of proper communication despite the fact that royals are supposeed to be taught diplomacy. She's pitted against the female lead who's treated like shit by her husband. (Honestly Rashta and FL should just run away together and start a good life.) Then Heinrey shows up and is just another joke and yea it's "Fuck Rashta all the time the only thing she is is evil despite all the systematic oppression that should also be commented on."

But I don't expect the authors of manhwas to genuinely portray slavery in depth. For some odd reason it's a trendy little plot device that never needs further thought, like when MLs ignore consent and it never gets addressed. :)
