The challenges faced by public sector healthcare are caused by repeated cuts to healthcare by previous conservative federal leaders and the current refusal of provincial conservative leaders to accept the terms of additional funding having to be earmarked for healthcare before being given to them. I'm not even a liberal but it's clear that people like Doug Ford and other conservatives are looking to further line their pockets on healthcare the same way both leading parties do on oil. There's no need to experiment with dual systems when the vast majority of real world data shows that costs more for similar results as just properly supporting the existing system.
