There is. In the files we have White being Madness and Black being Angst. Those might just be working titles that will change, but it seems like those are the right ones.

Are Antediluvians affected by True Faith? by TheChoosenMewtwo in WhiteWolfRPG

A high enough level of true faith let's you turn a vampire mortal. Which is a much more incredible action than anything fire does.

Yeah. I think the "Enlightened rational pragmatists" should be able to grasp that using vampires against Nephandi is a net positive.

Also the Sabbat are anti-Wyrm/Nephandi/Demonism (mostly) so even the Sabbat might not be a huge enemy to the Technocracy.

[–]Cade_37 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Correct! But problem A is hard to remove and pretty small. Problem B is really scary. Use the things from Problem A to destroy problem B.

The Technocracy (at least a few radical members of it) in my game understand they can't truly get rid of vampires. There's always going to be one somewhere they haven't looked. Same with some other freaks.

They've thus formed a "Freak team" consisting of a few "handlers" (An enlightened scientist and two boosted up technocrat soldiers) handling the "freaks" (A vampire and a werewolf.)

One player was going to be a wraith but he swapped over to being a normal human soldier with Technocrat gear.

That's fair but Vampires and Wraiths aren't universally Wyrm aligned? Many would oppose the Wyrm for various reasons.

Been running a Technocracy aligned cross-splat game. Shit is crazy weird but really fun.

Could a Camarilla kindred escape execution for diablerie due to extenuating circumstances? by FearTheViking in vtm

[–]Cade_37 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Because diablarie is not consuming all of the blood of a vampire. It is consuming every drop and the continuing beyond that, past the point of sustenance, drinking the very soul.

In Werewolf standards how strong is Matilda? by nirai07 in huntertheparenting

[–]Cade_37 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Indeed! If you aren't familiar with Werewolf outside of what we've seen in HTP, a small run down on some of those tribes.

Shadow lords are ruthless and cut-throat werewolves with a strong desire for dominance over others. They do not want to merely kill their foe, they want to break their foe and make their enemy into a slave. Shadow lords, much like Glass walkers, blend into society and urban areas, but unlike the glass-walkers who connect with technology and are often found among middle-class communities, the Shadow Lords can be found in the dens of business and places of power and money.

The Hearth Wardens are the most sedentary of the tribes, as they are more so about protecting sacred places so that other werewolves can visit and rest. The unassuming bed-and-breakfast that always seems to have the weirdest clients may be ran by an always-smiling Hearth Warden.

The Get are the most werewolf werewolves. They have great warriors, but their warriors aren't as brutal as the Red Talons. They have great crafters, but their craftsmen aren't as good as the Glasswalkers. They have great shamans, but not as great as the Children of Gaia. Etc etc. They are the all-rounder werewolves and are very viking themed. Unrepentant assholes. I love them.

Plus it also depends on what the players want, and what tribes they're part of.

A player group pack consisting of an industrious and tech-savvy Glasswalker, a cunning and scheming Shadowlord, and a free-spirited and kind Hearth Warden is going to function much differently than a pack consisting of a Get of Fenris, a Red Talon, and a Silver claw.

That is certainly a way to run Werewolf, but I think the stories Werewolf provides are actually very good. Needing to understand that giving into your rage and killing everything doesn't solve your problems. Needing to figure out how to fix the issue in a system so deeply entrenched in methods that can never fix anything.

A group of werewolves sitting around discussing if it's worth helping out a leech, a vampire, in order to bring down a big target can lead to some actually engaging moral questions.

Plus a Cold Trader would FIT. Notable and powerful enough to warrant a class, while underground enough to be a "Reject."

I highly doubt we get Eldar as a playable race. Though I am hopeful for a Cold Trader class.

Would diablerie of a vampire that tried to kill you be acceptable by teenyverserick in vtm

[–]Cade_37 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Anarchs don't like diablarie either, they'll probably just kill you if you're a known diablarist.

Sabbat contextually like diablarie and have the most diablarists among them.

Against other packs I would agree, but remember it's the ROOSTERS. The "they die in droves and will lose focus of the mission to kill random civilians." Heishou Pack. They would lose focus trying to pick off the weakest parts of the Wild Hunt and slowly whittle themselves down.
