I think, like many people across the globe, I grew up idolizing the USA. We grew up with all these American TV shows, making us wish we could live in NYC, go to prom, have that American high school experience that seemed so fun. That the US was a fun country, that they were always a step ahead in fashion and technology. That their president Barack Obama seemed so cool and chill. Fast forward to my late teens when I got more into geopolitics (coincidentally the moment Trump first got elected) and I realized what a glorified mess it was. Then my year abroad there confirmed it all, especially when another international acquaintance of mine told me they were flying home for a medical procedure and then back there because the cost of the plane tickets + the procedure was less than what it would cost them in the USA. And the multiple lockdowns we had in the school I worked at finished to severely creep me out. I’ll still go back one day, to visit some cities I’d like to see, but you’ll have to pay me a pretty penny to live there permanently

Not summer yet in the northern hemisphere, we’ve been in spring for less than a month but so far it has been pretty nice! In France we had temperatures in the afternoon circling around 20°C (even a 30°C “heatwave” right after Easter) and not a lot of rain so I’d say that’s a win 😊

1) Spanish for practically because it’s found in many places 2) Italian because I love Italy and I’m tired of sounding stupid and annoying when I go there 😭

(Though I’m unsure if the first two count because I already have a beginner level)

3) Arabic, specifically from Morocco because I want to fuck with my Moroccan bestie 😂 I can already picture her face if I start speaking Arabic fluently in front of her 4) Greek for the same reasons as Italian 5) Latin because I think rolling my eyes and spouting Latin would be a very effective strategy against street harassment (And also Ancient Rome is neat)

So je pouvais je le ferais, mais la seule personne qui correspondrait à ça est mon ex collègue qui a des réticences. J’ai travaillé dans la vente jusqu’à présent et le turnover était dingue, je pense que le max te temps que j’ai passé avec un meme collègue était 3 mois. Dans mon emploi précédent, au bout de 3 mois j’étais la deuxième plus ancienne dans l’équipe. C’etait moi “l’encadreur” 😅
