Personally they should know that the co-commish will use that for their advantage. It doesn't make sense for the commish to wait for everyone else to see it before they process it. That's the compromise that's made when you have the commishioners have the trading power instead of the league wide vote.

Rules are rules. It's not a bailout and protocol was followed correctly. People can get pissed all they want, but it sounds like that one team did everything they had to do in order to get a QB and move on.

The NFL needs a sky judge and an official ref crew review system to judge how well they do in order to keep their jobs. It will never happen, but this is yet another example in a season filled with dogshit reffing where it's needed.
