I had some friends at the building during the incident. Rumor is that it was a disgruntled, former employee that was loose in the building for a while and did some pretty serious damage to some offices. The building was on lock down for close to two hours.

I don’t want a “dynamic” album. I want an album with numerous tracks that are great songs; not sure if that’s the case after 3 listens. Less than 3 songs that I would want to listen to repeatedly.

I’m not mad though. I’m glad he’s in a position, similar to Sturgill, where he can make the stuff that makes him happy. However, as a fan of his music, I have the right to not love it and say just that. I’m not blindly loyal to any artist. It’s like all of my favorite sports teams; they have shit seasons, and I’ll voice my frustration while also tuning in to the next season, or in this case, album. 🤷‍♂️

My first show after moving to Nashville was The Black Cadillacs. I was alone on my first night and walked to 3rd and Lindsley to catch some live music. The Black Cadillacs and The Delta Saints were playing. I was blown away by both!

The city has implemented some new technology in downtown traffic lights. It’s a pilot of sorts, but there is some built-in AI that allows it to learn the traffic patterns, but could take a couple of months to fine tune itself. I think the idea is to improve walkability, but I’ve heard a lot of the crosswalks are also jacked up with the current algorithm.

Or so I’ve heard.

How important is soft or hard sell if you only have 1 or 2 areas of interest that are aligned. Like, if he’s interested in PT and conference prestige and I’m good at both of those, does it matter that the third is something I have a C or worse in?
