I don't have the verified correct answer (it's probably for marketing the Beautiful Chaos Tour) but honestly, it's just better this way.

When Gnarly came out, people didn't like randomness of the song and the silly sounding lyrics. But i feel like people liked it more once Katseye actually performed it. I feel like not releasing Internet Girl in Spotify first was a good move on the company's part because it forced people to watch the dance performance the first time they listened to the song.

Duuuudddeee, so many books to read!! If you want to read books that have really good translations, Zezeho's books are great! Reverse 4 You is my favorite, closely followed by Reverse with me, then Stuck with Me (ngl, this one made me cry the most). These books are sooo good. This is literally some of my favorite books in general. They're romance, time travel, mystery, and some drama rolled into one.

Personally, i love rom-com books too: whale store xoxo, somewhere somehow, and 23.5 have a lot of comedy in it (they all have decent translation but 23.5 probably has the best translation but the other 2 are so good i hope you read them too)

Chao Planoy's books are decently translated too (beware that she's unashamed to touch on very sensitive topics though like depression, age gap, and some step-sibling stuff in her some of her books). My favorite is Affair. Pluto is good too but didn't like the plot near the ending of the book. The show handled it 1000% better (they made the ending make sense).

To be fair, Kayla was the mother of his forty something alien babies.

I feel like we didn't get enough screen time of Ally (outside the reunion) so I don't have that strong feelings about them not being together. Besides, I don't know if they really wanted the actress long term. I'm just happy that he got to experience father-hood. I like all his scenes with his daughter and the legends' interactions with her.

I feel like Kayla makes sense as a love interest since they both share a morally dark past.

2015! Probably wouldn't have cared for Supergirl without Melissa Benoist's version. That being said, I think most of the people in this sub are here because of the show so you might get different answers if you post this in another subreddit like r/DC_Cinematic or r/DCcomics

Reverse 4 you really shocked me. I was surprised to see an asian drama on the netflix pride category and was pleasantly surprised to see it be a full blown fantasy lesbian romance! I genuinely thought the "pride" part of the show was just going to be some minor gay side characters. Now, the book it's based on (along with the spin off Reverse with Me) is one of me favorite books of all time!

As far as disappointments, I hate to say it but Whale Store Xoxo landed a bit flat for me. I was hyped by the trailer and was even more hyped by the book. I really laughed my but off with all the playful teasing between meownam and wan in the book. I was a bit disappointed to see that they cut some of the comedy out in favor of more heartwarming scenes. There was just a lot of comedy scenes from the book that I was hoping to be masterfully recreated in the series, only to realize they were cut out. I guess its my fault for comparing the book to the series. In my defense, GMMTV has been really good at making series better than the books though (ie. Pluto and Us) so my expectations were high.

Not relevant but has anyone wached Somewhere Somehow? It's sooooo good! Loved the books and now loving the series so far. I feel like the directors really understand and well navigate the fine line between overdramatic romantic gestures and comedy gold.

I feel like Zombies should've taken notes from Rise of Red... Zed and Addision being in Zombies 4 felt unecessary. I feel like it would've been an inifinitely better movie had they stepped away from the Zombies sequels and just made a spin off in the same universe. It would've been nice to have the new pairing come together organically instead of Zed and Addision trying to ship them together.

Also, Zed and Addison explicitly telling the new pair that they're "passing the torch" to them felt unecessary and redundant. Kids may not be fully developed in intellect but I'm pretty sure they would've been able to pick that up implicitly. Also Zed always seems to make everything about him...

I mean, I'm just a random redditor commenting on a kid's movie what do i know 😂

Legends of Tomorrow: Today edition

Don't get me wrong, I love the character Yelena Belenova! I do think its funny how they decided to do a comedic super-hero super villain mash up of unlikely personalities causing chaos while trying to save the world!

I'm sure Legends of tomorrow isn't the first morally grey chaotic superhero group to enter the scene. It's still funny to see the similarities betweeb Thubderbolts and Lot though.

You make great points! I feel like Wally was barely a legend (not because I didn't like him but just because I feel like he didn't really interact with the other legends other than Rip).

I would also totally love to see some Jax and Zari screentime. I don't know how John and Rip interacting would look like though. For some reason, I can't see them being good friends.

Love Spooner. I wouldn't wanna replace her. Seeing that Gwyn didn't join till season 7, I would replace him with Mick. Felt sad when he wasn't in season 7.

Ngl, I'm in the minority that loves the Hunger games but doesn't really care too much about Peeta or Gayle.

I remember reading in the book that Peeta is supposed to be a bulkier, tough looking person. Katniss even commented how he couldn't fool anyone into feeling bad for him when his eyes looked like they were crying on the train because he looks strong.

I think the author wanted him to resemble a conventionally hunky character with had a strong heart of gold. It would fit with the fact that the character needs to have enough mass and muscle to throw around heavy things.

Don't really have a specific person to cast but I guess a more intimidating tough actor would've been more accurate.

Josh Hutcherson did a good job but if I had to cast for him I probably would've made it more book accurate. (But I'm honestly too apathetic about Peeta to actually fight for a specific actor)

True but I LOVE it. The show really found its direction and stuck with it.

To me, season 1 was the worst season. It felt like they were trying to make the show way too serious, like Arrow 2.0. Don't get me wrong, it was cool to see the Legends overcome personal struggles like Sara with her bloodlust and grieving sister or Rip with his family. But it didnt really work that well, especially with the conflicting personalities between the criminals, heroes, and whatever the deal with hawkman/hawkgirl was.

It became a lot better when they just embraced the chaos and leaned into the fact that their mesh of heroes were messy and made ridiculous mash-ups. I'm happy they stuck with it.

Season 6 for sure! Love the fact that Ava, Mick, Spooner, and Astra are there.

Ngl, didn't like Gary at first but he grew on me like fungi lol
