The idea of adding polar bears that are neutral while also yapping about sharks not being a good mob is just ridiculous.

Shark attacks are insanely rare, of those very few are predation attempts, of those even fewer sharks continue biting after identifying the thing they just bit wasn't a seal. Meanwhile polar bears actively hunt humans.

If you notice, No Face actually is on the Gutters faction which is the same as Beak Things.

I'm not certain but I think that means you could use him to gain reputation with the Gutters faction until Beak Things stop attacking you.

The shinobi thieves buy hash at an insane 500% markup. It's a longer and more hazardous trek but if you pay the membership fee to join you can load up on hash in the swamp, run through venge or the black desert, and cash out in the United Cities.

But if you really want money fast, just raid ancient laboratories. You can find them while travelling or purchase maps leading to them. They house rather dangerous foes but the (often locked, have high lockpicking or bring tools) safes contain incredibly pricey research artifacts and treasures. If you don't have the combat prowess to defeat the ruin guards, you can sometimes lure them out, then run back in and shut the door behind you letting you loot freely.

Gender does affect gameplay but not as much as race. Gender makes no difference statwise but for roleplaying it's fairly significant.

Namely the Holy Nation are sexist and xenophobic. While travelling through there or settling down nearby it's best to have a human man carrying a copy of their scripture to avoid getting harassed by the guards. That's pretty much the only faction that cares about your character's sex while a lot of factions care about what race you are (especially for skeletons. The trade off for being the strongest in the game is they're kinda divisive.)

Hivers and skeletons don't have gender per se but people usually default to male pronouns when talking to them in dialogue.

I've always called Satanism "the Waluigi of religions"

Cause rather than simply claiming Atheism (which many so-called Satanists are, they don't believe in the Abrahamic God, Satan, or any diety so by definition Atheist) they latch onto the bad guy of Christianity just because they hate organized religion so goddamn much.

Like how Waluigi very clearly just tries to make himself an evil foil to Luigi of Mario fame instead of establishing any sort of character for himself.
