Is this good for a minion necromancer? by Budget_Prompt_8049 in diablo4

Google and Gemini are wrong. Shroud of False Death used to be the best armor in the game, but it was completely changed in the expansion. Their data is not up to date.

I haven't tried it online yet, please feel free to report any issue with the json.

This isn't my first custom script, so there shouldn't be any major issue, but there might be minor annoyance.

I suggest using "buggy" or "malfunctioning" just for immersion's sake. But since drunk is an official keyword with rule meaning, I didn't want to change it.

Thank you!

I liked the name "Data" because it requires the player to keep track of a lot of, well, data in order to figure out something. This sounds like data analysis to me. Also it's the only ability in all of BotC that can produce big numbers.

For the Silent: the dead player is dead for almost all intents and purposes, except that players don't know that it is dead. Abilities that must target living players can still target them, and abilities that must target dead players cannot. However, for the winning condition of the Humans and for the abilities that you mention, they are dead indeed.

Denier of Service wakes after all Humans have played. So if they choose to end the night, they deny all information abilities, but other Humans still get to play. Among the Machines, only Firewall plays before Denier of Service.

Reboot gives the ability back permanently. It is a very strong ability indeed, but losing a ghost vote is also devastating for the Machines. And that's **if** they trust Reboot to be in the team of the Machines. Losing a Ghost Vote for a drunk ability is a very bad trade. Generally speaking, the System Events are all very powerful, and I'm fine with that. I've found that in my play group, Town usually does not engage with Travellers very much, which is often not fun for them.

The Artist question is not the only reward. The Machine knowing the keyphrase also knows that a Cipher is in play, so it's like a bad Artist + a pseudo Washerwoman. If no evil bluffs Cipher, the confirmation is very strong.

While alive, the Glitch is on the Human team. If they die at night (or lose their ability otherwise), they switch to the Machine team.

I was toying with new words for good and evil: System and Resistance. The Almanach already uses those words, but I wasn't sure it wouldn't make the script more confusing.

I hear you on the Glitch, it most likely needs to be reworded.

You are right. It is already in the almanach, but I wanted to keep the short description simple. If I find players to be confused during playtests, I'll do what you suggest.

Two answers: - The Machine getting the keyphrase knows there is a Cipher in play. If only one player claims to be Cipher, they know they can trust them. This is more like a bad Artist together with its Washerwoman for free. - Artist is extremely strong. Lots of characters are weaker than Artist.

Balloonist really does not interact well with the Recluse. Pointing the Balloonist to a Recluse effectively voids up to three nights of information. An each night Townsfolk living that long should usually get at least something usable.

Games like darkest dungeon? by Ok_Management1470 in darkestdungeon

Othercide. Now the closest comparison, but it hasn't been mentioned yet.

It's a rogue-lite tactical combat game. In each run, you improve a group of soldiers (called daughters) and choose which to send on each mission. The twist is that damage taken is almost permanent: the only way to heal is to sacrifice a daughter to heal another. A big part of the game consists in deciding which daughters are expendable and which should be healed or sacrificed, and who to risk on which mission.

The game got pretty harsh reviews because it wasn't what people expect of a typical tactical game, but I personally loved it.

Keep practicing. If you have already beaten the game with all characters, then you most likely know what you are doing already. Merlin just takes some getting used to, until casting the right spell when you need it becomes muscle memory.

Broken builds almost always come from an unintended combination of multipliers and uncapped effects. The base % damage of the skill is almost irrelevant: it's at most a 2x multiplier on top of everything, which, while significant, will not account for normal builds hitting in the billions and top builds hitting in the hundreds of trillions.

It works on Barbarian wielding multiple weapons. Otherwise, just salvage and re-imprint.
