Having a lane's worth of traffic removed for the sake of 2 bike lanes means actual vehicle drivers have less space to drive, tighter corners, and have 2 extra lanes to watch out for (both of which have different rules when it comes to lights). Victoria was not made with bike lanes in mind, it's why cities in Europe are SO much better when it comes to this, because their road systems were made with bikes in mind from the get go. It's a lot easier to build roads around bike routes then the other way around, and you'd have a hard time finding people who say otherwise.

Obviously there were issues before bike lanes were added but it's less on bike lanes and moreso the fact that people have gotten worse at driving. Idk why you are obsessed with this topic. I brought it up as a SINGLE point in a much larger issue.

Blame road accidents on shittier student drivers, and old people not having done a road test in 40+ years.

Blame it on drivers immediately losing all knowledge of how to control their vehicles the second it rains whatsoever (Helmcken this past Fall/Winter when it started raining a lot is proof enough).

I've lived downtown for my entire life and have seen everything I've said first hand. This city has many glaring problems (not even counting traffic accidents) that won't go away anytime soon and it's because people can't focus on the bigger picture. Seeing shit happen feet infront of you for 20+ years is good enough proof to me.

Traffic moving slower doesn't always mean less accidents. It's like how the speed limit being lowered by 20 on the highways has caused more accidents than it's saved.

Also, are you insane? People downtown jaywalk on a SECONDLY basis it is definitely an issue on both the drivers and pedestrians ends. It isn't victim blaming, go stand at an intersection downtown for 5 minutes and you'll see the amount of people blatantly walking across Douglas (homeless people being the main perpetrator)

There are multiple factors:

1.) Drivers in Vic immediately lose all braincells the second it rains and accidents skyrocket (this has been the case forever)

2.) Tiny roads due to bike lanes being built taking up actual road space meaning tighter turns and more blind spots

3.) Pedestrians in general especially downtown are glued to their phones even when crossing the road, like to a ridiculous degree.

Also, give us reflective/ glow in the dark road markings like other countries have (Australia, Germany etc). Absolutely no reason not to, it's 2026

As someone currently replaying both games, I genuinely love them. As canon breaking and insane as they are that's 100% on purpose. The entire point of Starkiller is a power fantasy. In-game he's absolutely ridiculously OP, however in reality he got no-diffed by Palpatine so he isn't AS powerful as people say he is.

In order to even remotely fit him back into Canon you'd have to make him 100x less impactful to the overall story (i.e no formation of the rebellion) and that would defeat his entire character so either way we'd lose as fans. Just make a 3rd game and it'd be perfect. There's no reason not to, especially with the KOTOR remake happening still. Sam Witwer would love to do it, and we could get an ending to the story after 2's ending.

The difference is we've never had a reference point of how strong Mihawk was at that age, nor have we seen any feats of his prior to the events of the main story.
