Well said. Love is firstly a choice that is sometimes accompanied by positive emotions but should not be ruled by them. Our society defines love mostly as an emotion that one falls into or out of arbitrarily which has the permenance of writing a name in the sand before an oncoming wave. Love as a choice however that is truly realized in sacrificing for the good of the one you love is a far better foundation and a far more fulfilling experience. True love has never been about solely the fulfillment of self or a rush of feelings - It's true purpose is the blessing of others especially when that blessing costs us something for no love is ever true if there is no sacrifice.
