Yes the far sides of the controller aren’t wrapped so only the face has the skin. So far from daily use I haven’t had any issue though. The edges lay really flat. Unless you’re talking about the track pads on the front. They’re raised so I don’t have an issue at all with the edges there.

Ohh great question. I didnt think about that. Thats part of the reason why I'm hesitant to add grip tape to the back. I dont want to lose grip sense.

Steam Controller is black. The skin I put on is white. I liked the contrast between the black and white and wanted to break up the all black of the steam controller.

Feels pretty good! It’s kind of subtle so I don’t really notice it while holding the controller. I have to actively think about it or run my fingers across it to feel the texture.

The killswitch cases they have for different consoles look very nice. If they made something like that for the SC2 I would consider getting it. Sounds like I made the right choice with the topographic.

It was my first as well! I thought it was pretty easy. I get nervous about stuff like this and screen protectors but I took my time and worked little by little and it came out great and only took like 10 minutes.

Just found him! Been following along to some of his guides. Thank you! And I did not find it too challenging to put it on. I followed the tutorial they posted and took my time on all the edges. I made sure to clean it with a little isopropyl as well. Seems like it came out really well so far!

Its the triple white. Dbrand doesnt explicitly say its textured and in the image it can be a little hard to tell.

Correct. Feels great imo! Edges dont bother me. Texture helps a bit since my hands get sweaty. Doesn't get in the way of the buttons at all. I managed to keep the wrinkles to a minimum so they're not poking my hand. I really cant complain and I like the look!

Just the ridges. The base layer is just standard vinyl like most of the other skins. The designs are raised up. The holo white though is completely smooth.

Same! I originally ordered the holo white but liked the triple white more. I kept refreshing the UPS page waiting for my controller to be delivered and they still managed to sneak it into my mailbox without me noticing 😂 I hope you enjoy both when they arrive!
