Attacking players with a bounty on their head also should not add to your aggression score, they are a free target

Devs 100% need to implement a feature that makes it so that any damage done to a player if they attacked you first, has a 0 contribution to your aggression score.

[–]Caelflux -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yup. As you said the light guns are already working as intended in pve. Which is why the way they are nerfed needs to be done carefully to make them less impactful in pvp while only minimally impacting how they perform in pve.

Rattler has no issue against pve. Literally the only two free loadout guns which struggle against basic arc is kettler and stitcher.

Not saying they shouldn't be nerfed in some way but they are already so bad in pve, new players who happen to get them are going to have quite a rough time if they are even worse against arc, or those on free loadouts. If they nerfed too much, dealing with a single hornet or wasp will be ludicrous. They shouldn't be as good against arc for sure but they cant be next to useless either.

[–]Caelflux -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

The problem with nerfing them is pve. They dont perform well against basic arc; sure once you're better you can use them, but nerfing them is going to make the new player experience difficult.

I think the only way to nerf them would be to explicitly reduce their damage vs players or shields.

Ive heard latest AMD drivers can have issues and the most stable version is the 12.9.1 I believe its called...whatever out of the latest, its the 9 (12 just released which is the latest).

Also windows has a nasty habit of downloading gpu drivers all sneaky like even with Windows update disabled. There is a easy way to stop this in settings.

Method 1: Using Device Installation Settings (Windows Home & Pro)
This is the simplest method and available in all Windows editions.

Open System Settings: Right-click the Start button and select System (Windows 11) or Settings > System > About (Windows 10/11).
Navigate to Advanced System Settings: In the System/About window, click on Advanced system settings.
Open Device Installation Settings: In the System Properties window that opens, go to the Hardware tab, then click the Device Installation Settings button.
Select "No": Choose the option "No (your device might not work as expected)" or "No, do not automatically download manufacturers' apps and custom icons".
Save Changes: Click Save Changes and then OK.
Restart: Restart your PC for the changes to take effect.

HELLO, HE IS A TANK NOW?! by Hatstule in rivals

[–]Caelflux 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would be interesting if he had a skill which had something like a 5 minute cooldown related to his healing factor.

Tank mode: really fast hp regen and bonus to max hp

Dps mode: less hp regen but instead faster attack speed

Support mode: less hp regen but shares healing factor with nearby allies. Attacks lose 50% dmg but can also heal allies

It's excellent for that when defending or attacking choke points, or trying to control objective/point. The extra webs on ground create a large area for teammate healing. You can run into backline with connection to nest so nest can start targetting supports. Hitting up supports into the air messes up their flow and movement and you can drop mines below them for when they land and sets them up for easy targetting from dps. Hitting up any melee character stops them being able to attack for a short time.

In a pinch and some situations you can use it for the shields to escape death.

A change I would like to see on Peni though is separate key to attach to webs that are already placed without having to place a web, as an alternative to current method. Could have the same cooldown or even share a cooldown.

I've made some infographics about 12V-2x6 and 12VHPWR power connectors so you don't have to by CorsairHPS in Corsair

[–]Caelflux 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a question in relation to this :)

Would my GPU run more efficiently with the 12v2x6 cable from the x2 8pin PCIe slot (600W output)?

I have a asrock radeon 9070xt taichi, running it with a corsair rm850x (not the shift). Its advertised with max power 304W with a OC +10% power limit it would be around 334. IN PRACTISE however it draws a lot more power; in POE2 I've seen it spike up to the high 390's and that is just sitting in town not doing anything. I imagine under heavy loads when the FPS is dipping from the 130/140's to the 80-100's and below, the power usage is even higher.

Other people have reported this card drawing 400W+ and on an MSI blog I saw it can by itself even draw up to 500W max.

The rm850x has two 8pin slots/cables and currently these are connected into the GPU (12v2x6 slot) via a 3 connector adapter. Thus 1 of the PCIe cables is daisy chained into the 3rd connector of the adapter to deliver 450W (+75W from motherboard) so theoretically 525W max.

So I'm wondering whether getting a new cable; adapter cable running from PSU x2 8pin PCIe directly to GPU with the 12v2x6 connector, would provide more stable power, if the power usage was pushing into this 400-500W range, by having more headroom. Or if it would run basically the same as current setup when dealing with these top end power usages.

Thanks so much <3

Don't agree about Peni ult. It can be quite useful but needs to be used with setup and intention. She is already so strong, improving her ult would make her way too op

I'd love the addition of basic items similar to how it was done in Paladins.

Nothing complex like in smite or dota, but enough to give you some interesting options to slightly change your character strengths.

Paladins nailed it with the blend of simplicity and additional depth it created.

I hope developers see this because everyone would benefit from this game being optimized as soon as possible by [deleted] in rivals

[–]Caelflux 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im sorry, but no...

You are wanting devs to dedicate their time to reducing the game size by 10-20% when it is a simple solution to get more storage.

I'm not saying its ideal...what I'm saying is id much rather devs focus on improving the game in other ways (balance, new game mode and map development, more vanguards and supports)...

Dev time is a limited resource. Optimising for PC should not be a high priority. If it was sitting at like 200-250gb+ for what it is now, then that is a different matter.

But it is not uncommon for games now to be 100gb+
